"Absolutely shocking. Chicken I understand is grilled but no excuse for it tasting like rubber. I can take very high spices but I asked for the lowest spice of hot and it was extremely hot and tasted sour. Ordered a large chicken and rice and it was tiny. Get a bigger portion getting a small bag of chips from a chippy than you do there for chicken and rice. Paid nearly for mozzarella sticks anywhere else would give you a good amount but this place was cheeky by only giving (hint to owners people love cheese). I regret not going somewhere else or cooking dinner at home. None of the food we could stand and had to chuck it in the bin, waste of money. Ordered plain chicken but yet was covered in spices. There's no excuse you can give to defend this. Happily will live my life in bliss knowing I'll never go back"

I love Pepes, and I think it’s absolutely class. But the service from the Paisley one is shocking. They are absolutely terrible. Wrong orders, late blah blah blah. If you want a proper good Pepes don’t judge it from here, go to Woodlands in Glasgow and get one, they are the boys

Food was alright, a bit over priced for the price but it was alright. The service was a joke though. When the delivery came half the order was missing. I called and they sent the driver back, this still wasn't all the items. Got the full order around hours after the first delivery came. The boy on the phone was quite rude and also hung up the call on me. Think the staff need some proper training

Absolutely terrible experience I have ordered from this restaurant many times however this last time the food came more than hours later and it was stone cold. The restaurant would not answer the phone and messaging on google got me through to Motherwell branch who said someone would call me but this was bulls e. for one person's dinner and for it to go in the bin is an utter disgrace. The total ignorance of the place is terrible

I had not visited this particular Pepe's location before, but I am generally a fan of the chain. I would suggest ordering ahead of time, as everything is made fresh to order. After ordering at the counter, I experienced a somewhat long wait for my food. While it may not be as inexpensive as it used to be, the restaurant has now become well-established as one of the top chicken shops in the area. Personally, I prefer it over its Portuguese restaurant rival. My go-to order is the rice box, which offers great value for its generous portion size. I recommend adding the garlic dip for some added moisture and flavor. The sauces can be quite hot, so I find that the mild option is spicy enough for m...

"I have looked at this restaurant for years and always thought a tiny little steakhouse in the middle of Paisley can't be that good. Well all I can say is I was wrong very wrong. Anyone that has read any of my other reviews will know I don't give 5 stars easily and I can be and usually am brutally honest. So when I say I loved this place and it is by far my new favourite restaurant by a country mile. Now it's not the easiest place to park or find your first time. And you would be forgiven for looking from the outside and thinking its tiny it's going to be cramped and hurried. But it is worth any hassle you have parking which believe me 2 mins after walking in you have forgotten about. The welcome from the staff was warm and sincere. Tha character of the building is like eating in your Grans kitchen it's brilliant. The menu is big enough to offer a wide enough choice but not to big that you can't decide. The service was excellent from start to finish and the food was amazing. I had the blackened garlic pork chop. And it was just fabulous and a really good size of dish. In fact it was so good I could have asked for 1 on its own as a dessert. I thought the balance of seasoning was spot on perfect. In fact it was so good I actually stopped writing there to enjoy the memory of it. Do not miss this place if your looking for somewhere to eat in Paisley, yes it's tucked away, yes parking can be an issue, yes it's small and you really should book in advance BUT any of these perceived downsides are worth it for the fabulous time the comes with them. Book a table I promise you will not regret it."
