"a small and warm room, a warm and smiling welcome. we wanted to try pickles for a long time have not regretted and they will return to the evening a menu in 2 variations, with a sum-vin agreement that we have chosen. The chef comes to table and explains to you in detail and with an inimitable accent the dish that you will taste, without taking a head and with a big smile... We were totally charmed! Installed to swim recently, we did not know the pineau of the black tanks, which we were lovingly tasted at the moment we set our addition....Break a great time a very pleasant evening that we hope to renew very quickly"

It's a bit of a wait, but we have time. And then it's good, it's original, it's surprising, well- commented, well-executed. well-mastered seasonings. Thank you very much.

We served 2 weeks before for 3 people but we were very poorly placed: on the front door a small table for 2 where a chair was added. We were refused to change places while there was not a lot of people. The kitchen is not excellent and expensive for what it is.

We absolutely loved this charming restaurant in Nantes. The chef and waitstaff provided a welcoming and fun experience and the food was world class. Wines were suggested for each course and all were perfect. The menu is extremely reasonable given the high quality. You couldn't even come close to this value in Paris. We would eat there every week if we lived there!!!

Fantastic little restaurant delivering amazing food, great atmosphere & good value. Chef Dominic introduced himself and was proud to explain the provenance of all his ingredients. All dishes showed skill in combining & balancing flavour - resulting in a menu of a quality that you would pay much more for elsewhere. Chef & his teams passion for the restaurant shone through.

for the second experience in this place and even more enchanted than the first time. A real treat. a wedding of subtle flavors of carefully chosen spices. a special mention to the very original lemony condiment accompanied by the pig. fresh products that taste is sublimated but never disvoyated. an effective smiling service without any obsesquiosity. the mets- wines agreement was also remarkable. the organic carignan was in particular a beautiful discovery. Bravo to the whole team. and, the last but not the least, the addition is very reasonable in view of the quality and inventiveness of the products.

"When in Nantes at the last-minute, I used my TA app on my iPhone to find something great near me. I called, and the person I spoke to couldn't have nicer, and said "come on over". I did. The restaurant was virtually empty, despite the fact that a couple of other places I called were booked solid and had no more tables available. The "acceuil" (welcome) couldn't have been nicer. The choices on offer were a fixed formula of 2 entrées, 2 mains, and 2 desserts. I was told that this was as they use only fresh products. I chose a main of cheese/pesto stuffed ravioli with a cream, tomato and cilantro sauce. It arrived quickly, but was maybe room temperature. The hope of fresh cilantro giving a "twist" to the dish, was there, but a bit in the background. I was a bit disappointed, as I couldn't identify the ravioli as being "home-made". In fact, nothing seemed to be fresh/hand chopped, like the tomatoes. I had the bread pudding for dessert, and it arrived also room temperature, was clearly "home-made" with pears, and clearly bread chunks on the top, with a swirl of chocolate for garnish. It was a bit dry, clearly not made very recently, and the inside (where the bread aspect should have been well-infused), was not throughout. The top of the "cake" had hard, dry bread chunks on it. My impression was that perhaps it was a "slow day", and they weren't putting much effort into it by serving something freshly cooked. There was only one other diner in the place. On the other hand, the serveuse could not have been nicer or more helpful. They feature an interesting international, short wine list with everything available by the glass. The dinner menu (on the blackboard on the wall), looked interesting. I think it merits trying again, if they turn on the stove and start serving food hot off the burner, as the interesting menu seasoning is attractive. Great service, but the food was mediocre this day."
