"We (two adults and three children) were here on recommendation from friends and we did not regret it. The place was almost completely occupied on weekdays at 8:00, fortunately we had reserved in advance. The well-stocked restaurant demanded the owner of the restaurant a lot, as he took over both the service and the sink alone, but we quickly got the card and the ordered drinks. For dinner: before we ordered grilled peperoni, which were beautifully dressed with herbal salad and grilled white bread on the table, optically and tastefully excellent. To the main course we had classic gyros with rice/pommes and tzaziki. Rice/Pommes and Tzaziki were excellent and especially the garlic note of Tzaziki was the right measure for my taste. The Gyros meat was not dry and seasoned, but nicely juicy and also delicious for children. The ambience: admitting something in the years did not come inconveniently and, as already experienced differently, overloaded by the acropolis romanticism, there was nothing to complain about cleanliness. Conclusion: We were fully satisfied, tastefully delicious food, cozy ambience and an owner who made a good mood with his Greek charm and the one or other funny saying. We like to come back."

"my partner and I have been living in dossenheim for about 1.5 years. to start we have made it to make a good pizza delivery service find out; . it has not taken a long time. there mario is and remains our first choice regarding pizza in and around dossenheim!First time to the pizzas. I think it's just really busy! not too much and not too little! always nicely juicy and never even got cold. but not only that the pizzas are always very tasty, the service has always been courteous, courteous and very friendly. also extra wishes are not a problem. Finally, it is only possible to add that we are already looking forward to the small talk on the door with the supplier. : we are simply around satisfied customers and can recommend mario at the most!"

"Wir waren schon öfter hier und waren eigentlich immer sehr zufrieden. Wir wollten am Montag an unserem Hochzeitstag gerne wieder einen schönen Abend im Schwan verbringen, mussten dann vor Ort sehr enttäuscht feststellen, dass laut Aushang ab sofort montags Ruhetag ist. Was generell nicht das Problem ist, allerdings ist es ein Problem, wenn nach wie vor auf der Homepage steht, dass montags um 17.00 Uhr geöffnet wird. Da nicht jeder Gast aus Dossenheim kommt, wäre es doch schon nötig so eine Info auf der Homepage zu verkünden. So war es einfach nur enttäuschend für uns, und wir werden wohl so schnell nicht wieder herkommen."

"I was in mykonos twice. once I was close, had a very urgent necessity, went to the bar, described my problem and of course left for the next two € on the ticket. the second time I came to dinner with a group of well-known. the table reservation had worked well, so went well! the restaurant was very well filled, but the service was not hectic, but very attentive, brought drinks(after) ordering very flashfast and was always friendly. the portions are more than large to say, the required prices are absolutely in order. Perhaps the connected sports hall ensures that people always come here with great hunger, I don't know, in any case when they order an appetizer, take a suppe or the like, otherwise they need a great hunger! but even if it becomes a lot, I would bet that they eat the dish empty because that is very delicious! all were thrilled by the table, struggled like me with the last bites, but the quality convinced. separate calculations did not represent any challenge, cleanliness and comfortable chairs I mention only for the sake of completeness, the acoustic that I found pleasant, the table removals for a local this price class absolutely perfect. in summer there are also tables free of charge. "Housed in a century building, the interior of Die Kartoffel is lovingly filled with all sorts of antiques and bric-a-brac. In summer, guests can enjoy their meal al fresco under a century “Gewölbe” (arch) or in their Biergarten. The quirky atmosphere is not...the only attraction though. Die Kartoffel is well-known in the region as a place where you can enjoy a piece of meat like you would during the Stone Ages... well, almost! The house specialty is an Argentinian Black Angus steak served on a sizzling slab of lava stone heated to degrees Celsius. You get to grill your steak at your table, exactly how you like it. The steak meal comes with different sauces, along with a baked potato smothered with homemade sour cream and a side salad. Other meats, prawns and even vegan and vegetarian options are available. Overall an enjoyable dinner with delicious food, good local wines and great service. Note: There is a ventilation system in the dining area, but it doesn't entirely remove the grill smoke from the tables, so be prepared to smell like a piece of grilled meat at the end of your meal!"
