"that was one of the only restaurants that were open on the second Christmas day, so last night we met with him for dinner and I am so glad we made it! we had a table for the back with our small children. brot, wein, pastas, and the tiramisu was all delicious! our service was great and everyone was very friendly! I had the rigatoni all arrabbiata and it was fabulous with a beautiful spicy kick. my man had something, I forget the name, pasta with cheese sauce and it was also wonderful. all children had spaghetti carbonara, very good. the tiramisu literally took the cake and was delicious!"

Friendly and attentive service. Good food and great coffee. The lunch set menu was good value too. Recommended

A pleasant place in a nice neighborhood location, but the food was disappointing. Not bad, but kind of mediocre.

A true Italian restaurant with a daily specials listing. A good wine list too. We stayed in the hotel across the street, so a perfect location for us. Close to the Christmas Market near Marianplatz. View menu

I got a little tired of Bavarian food on my fifth day in Munich so I decided to go to an Italian restaurant tonight. I’d lentil soup and spaghetti with prawns and avocado in a light tomato sauce. Both were quite tasty and piping hot...(I hate lukewarm food). The service was a little bit slow though.

We were staying across the street and just by luck or because it was raining we ate here. The food was excellent. Pizza was fabulous, wine was delish and the hospitality was spot on. They took their time and let us really sit around and...chit chat w/o pressure to move out quickly which what we were looking for after a long day of walking all over Munich.

Friendly staff, good service, reasonably price. I had the carpaccio to start which was terrific. For main I had lasagne which started really delicious, however it was stone cold in the middle. I sent it back and it was returned hot but returned burned, covered...in parmesan to disguise. Overall quite disappointing, but my experience might have been better with a different choice of main. This confirms me how difficult is for an Italian to eat decently in a so called Italian restaurant or pizzeria. Carbonara with Sahne I would not offer to an enemy, but this restaurant does to innocent German clients! Pizza Teig like in a tipica mensa....Really disappointing. Prices not adequate for the low quality offered. Only the home made desserts are acceptable and deserve to be mentioned

This was one of the only restaurants open the second day of Christmas so we just happened upon it for dinner last night and I'm so glad we did! We had a table for in the back with our toddlers. Bread, wine, pastas,...and tiramisu was all delicious! Our service was great and everyone was very friendly! I had the rigatoni all arrabbiata and it was fabulous with a nice spicy kick. My husband had something, I forget the name, pasta with cheese sauce and it was also wonderful. All kids had spaghetti carbonara, very good. The tiramisu literally took the cake and was delicious

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
