"My dad worked for a number of years for a German company, and loved coming to Bavaria for the delicious food. We were visiting Ludwigsburg for the weekend, and took a chance with this place. It was exactly what he wanted. The schnitzel was thinly...sliced, perfectly tender, and came bathed in a perfect sauce. Adding fresh cream and lemon juice to that had us in disbelief. That's how good it was. They also had a very nice salad to give us with our meal, that I didn't think I'd like because potato salad was underneath it. Sounds weird, but was delicious. It was finely chopped, with very finely diced potato, egg, cream, bread, and spices. It was unlike any other potato salad I've had since moving to Germany. The icing on the cake was that they had my dad's favorite Trollinger wine. He really enjoyed it. We were also really pleased with our waiter, as he provided exceptional service. We would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for gourmet German food. It's worth the slightly high prices because of the quality and service!"

Ludwigsburg is known for its Baroque architecture and the grand Ludwigsburg Palace. Typical dishes include Spätzle and Maultaschen, reflecting traditional Swabian cuisine.
