Pret A Manger – Media City

As always, nice enough food at Pret (albeit a tad expensive), but not sure why certain individuals have an attitude… Sort it out.

I always find the staff friendly even when busy and it’s spotlessly clean.. I’m not a dog lover so pick up on things quickly concerning hygiene etc and find nothing to complain about at all..

There are no gluten-free sandwich options available at this restaurant. Given the number of people who cannot consume gluten, it is surprising that they are not catering to this dietary restriction. View menu

I must also mention Ewa, who is always friendly and takes the time to greet us and our black Labrador, Poppy. Overall, the service is efficient, but I believe it could be improved if some of the other staff were a bit more friendly, especially considering that we are regular customers. A simple acknowledgement from time to time would greatly enhance our experience. The restaurant environment is clean and tidy, with a great selection of sandwiches, cakes, and pastries always available.

It has been some time since we last reviewed our local Pret a Manger. We have a subscription and stop by before and after work most days. The new manager, Harvey, is doing a great job running the place, making sure the shelves are always full, drinks are served quickly, and everything is clean and tidy. Waylan is incredibly friendly and talkative, even after a busy shift on his feet. The chai latte was amazing, thank you so much. Nicola, Marta, Victoria, and Waiwai are always pleasant and friendly, and Poppy loves all of you. Thank you for everything you do. Lynn

Staff are so friendly and welcoming and the drinks are always made exactly how we like them. We live on the Quays and make use of the excellent value subscription, coming here every day with our pet dog, Poppy. All the staff are amazing. Super friendly and very quick with the drinks. It’s a real pleasure to have this particular Pret on our doorstep with the excellent service all the team provide. Although all the staff are great, special mention must go to Aggy, Ewa, Waylan, Isaac, Nicola, Marcin. Apologies for missing some of you out but you don’t always have name badges on. This is a standard branch of Prêt, serving a range of quality food and drink. It’s been a regular place for lunch and coffee for me for several years. A glimpse into hygiene standards has put a stop to that though. Between 09:38 and 09:43 today, 6th April 2023; a large dog was sitting behind the service counter, in the area where food and drink was being prepared and served to customers. The three members of staff serving at the time seemed not to have a problem with this totally unacceptable breach of health and safety procedures. One server broke off bits of pastry items and fed them to the dog with her bare hands, before then continuing to prepare food for the human clientele. I was appal...

I visit Media City Pret every day before and after work and it’s busy from opening to closing! The staff are fabulous so friendly, attentive and absolutely hard working. Being on their feet the entire shift can’t be easy but they do it with a smile. It’s now under new management and Aggie is clearly doing a great job as manager the sign of a good manager is an engaged and happy team which they clearly are. Ewa, Waylan, two new guys and the ladies (blonde and dark haired) sorry I don’t know your names are all super pleasant and efficient. I often visit this Pret when coming up to visit my parents on the Quays. I must say this store really stands out in terms of the customer service, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I have been impressed by how efficient my visits have been, I have never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes for my order, and even in the busy periods (especially lunch time) the staff remain calm, friendly and attentive. The coffee is fab and I highly recommend the bacon and cheese twists! I have visited a number of times now, and got to know a couple of the staff memebers Ewa, Isaac.
