"Positives: The staff here are absolutely amazing and funny, nothing is too much to ask for, extremely helpful. Negatives: not a lot of choice if you like wine, either Chardonnay or Prosecco that’s it. The poor guys ran out of a lot of food...options, waiting for a delivery from the brewery, they’d ran out of rice, you’d think they’d be allowed to go to CostCutters and buy a bag! The food wasn’t great, very basic, but you get what you pay for (couldn’t get in anywhere else as fully booked). Place is grubby, needs a really good overhaul. We couldn’t wait to leave, but as I said the staff were superb, doing the best with what they have. A shame the brewery don’t invest some more money as it could be lovely with some TLC"

Called in last Saturday evening. So many people crammed together it should be called the covid arms. Turned around and left for our safety

Loved this pub so much we visited virtually every day of our holiday. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There are vegan options on the menu which was a big bonus. The food was great and reasonably priced. If you like a no frills,...locals pub then it's worth going!

We stayed in Aberaeron for days and went for a meal or a pint here every day Beer Food excellent. Don’t be put off by the bar being small when you walk in large rooms at the rear for sitting/eating. As for...the staff excellent and the Landlord excellent bit of fun highly recommended

So glad that we found this pub on a very busy evening in Aberaeron. They were very warm and friendly and put us at ease straight away. The menu was fairly basic but well cooked and presented and just what we were looking for. The...pub was worth a visit for the humour and banter of the bar man alone! What a star. Thanks for your Welsh welcome and hospitality

so many pubs only late in the week or late in the day, many do not eat until the evenings, or even do not open at all, so it was wonderful to find the prince of wales, quite unexpected. we had a warm greeting and. it is clearly a “local” pub that served a few real ales, much to my man joy. they obviously make a big deal with means of life and have a caries on a Sunday. we enjoyed our freshly cooked lunch, sampi and gammon generous and very cheap.

by us and a dog turned on a rainy Thursday, very hungry and were warmly welcomed and taken to a table in the restaurant area. the wood burner was illuminated and we had beautiful house cooked meals. could not really fail. also let us order two sausages for the dog! not many places where they can walk in a random hour and not feel like an inconvenience for them outside the “normal” midday. highly recommended would definitely go back. well done to the whole team.
