"A very nice dinner. Quiet but cheerful and bright place. Friendly and attentive service. The chef/owner came out to ask people at individual tables about the food. The food was delicately flavored and very tasty. We had lunch at L'Arpege earlier and so the immediate comparator for Rang could not possibly have been tougher. And yet, Rang scored well! The presentation of each dish was far superior to most Indian restaurants. Of the 4 things we ordered, Palak Paneer (slices of paneer arranged diagnonally on top of the gravy as opposed to cubes interspersed within the pureed spinach), Hyderabadi baingan (eggplant sliced and stacked with the gravy around it), and Kashmiri Kofta (3 large koftas in the center on top of the gravy) especially stood out in their presentation. Dal also had a half cherry tomato and fresh cilantro on it, adding a nice touch! The plain and garlic naans were thin and soft. The rice that came with the entrees was gently flavored with cumin enough to make the flavor apparent but not so that it would overpower the taste of the entree. Except for the two best Indian restaurants in Chicago that serve North Indian cuisine (Rooh and Indienne; and excluding the South India focused A2B), Rang would top every other Indian restaurant in Chicago."

this restaurant opened with a new team. Just for the containment! He fortunately spent as much as this episode. Today, it offers a very good cuisine, varied and of quality made by a true Indian chef. prices are fairly reasonable, and we have already planned to come back to continue exploring the rest of the card. This place has excellent food and great service. We had garlic cheese naan and mushroom cheese naan and it was very tasty. Had samosas (best ever) and the sauces served with them were wonderful. Entrees we had were butter chicken, eggplant dish, and biryani (btw sauce for biryani was the best I ever had). Have a nice wine selection and we’re attentive to our needs; kept our water filled, etc. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I explore this restaurant in may as I was craving for authentic indian food with homemade spices. I went there for dinner and it was really worth going there. Very comfortable and happy environment, their welcome was so so good I eat wasabi prawn as starter and it initiated my hunger more, for plates I took stuffed paneer roll and chicken palak it tastes so good with appropriate spices I ordered one spicy and one normal , the dishes were made according to accurate spice instructions.. Then I ordered a refreshing coconut desert which completes my dinner. This is the best indian restaurant I discovered in Paris.
