The food was amazing. I love the pork dumplings and hot spicy poached pig’s feet. Very decent Chinese food and fair price as well. Have a try.

I’ve been a patron here since it opened, and whilst I still think this is the best value and most authentic Chinese in Leeds it’s looking tired. The toilets are unpleasant, and the place is slightly dirty. Service really attentive though.

Visited here again recently for a meal. We popped in last minute on a Friday night and they managed to accommodate us. We ordered a few things including one of the fish dishes, it was a whole fish amd fed a few of us so very generous in portions. Salt and pepper chicken wings and spare ribs, very nice as starters, we had crispy beef, beef schezwan, chicken chow main, to try with egg Fried rice with chips, this was all very tasty food. One tiger beer and one large wine all for £84. The service was rubbish, no knife just a fork, waiting along time for starters as they were only 3 other tables. Probably would go again.

The restaurant offers delicious food with generous portions at affordable prices. The chicken and dumplings were particularly outstanding, and they also automatically packed up our leftovers without us having to ask, which was a nice touch. Despite having a large menu, they went out of their way to accommodate my friend who eats halal, which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely go back again without hesitation.

I have been a regular at Red Chilli in Leeds for many years, occasionally visiting the locations in Manchester and York. The quality of the food has been inconsistent over the years, ranging from good to outstanding. It is a traditional Chinese restaurant where the staff can be brusque and overworked, and the decor is not the best. However, the focus here is on the delicious food served. This is a no-frills establishment that prioritizes the taste of the dishes over everything else. Many negative reviews seem to come from those expecting typical Chinese food with excellent service.
