"We celebrated a birthday lunch for 34 family and friends at this restaurant. Although we had a slightly reduced menu due to our large group, everyone was pleased with the great choices offered. The food was excellent and the dining room was beautifully decorated with fairy lights. Sarah and the team were incredibly efficient at serving such a large group. They even catered to 2 guests with Coeliac disease, who loved the food and appreciated having options. Everyone had a fantastic time and we would definitely book again for a group event or stop by for lunch on a weekend. The menu is especially great for those with Coeliac disease. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

Great food. The belly pork was the best I've ever had. Lovely staff. It is more of a gastro pub rather than a regular pub. Didn't feel overly welcome to chill out and have drinks after food.

Four friends reunited here after 60 years. We had lunch Monday 7 Feb. the service was exceptional and the food too. Highly recommend this Inn. We were comfortable, had fun and we’re not rushed away.

nice pub, a little crampy for me, but it's an old traditional village pub. the drinks were very expensive, eating was really good. many of the traditional favourites to eat and drink. look forward to eating there again!

good food for lunch with reasonable portion sizes. I had a very nice chicken and mushroom cake, which was accompanied by chips {my choice} and sweet. It followed Rhabarb crumbs, which was also very beautiful. the prices were not as high as other places where I recently ate. a critique is that the seat was very cramped.

My six-year-old grandson was with us and he ordered a cheeseburger without cheese but with gherkins. The staff happily accommodated his request. He also chose a pudding and the staff kindly offered him a child's portion. This gesture was very nice and something that will be remembered. Overall, we rate our experience 10/10.

This lovely gastro pub is tucked away and features a fantastic and cozy beer garden, clean restrooms, and ample parking. The food is impeccably presented, with a wide variety of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks available. The courteous staff go above and beyond to make sure your experience is enjoyable. I can't wait to come back again!

I have been to this restaurant before for a quick lunch, but this was my first time having dinner with a group of 4. We all ordered different dishes and I must say that each one was excellent. The menu options and specials were great and reasonably priced. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and the service was exceptional. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
