"We decided to go and visit the snowdrops at Kingston Lacy and then was looking for some where to eat. We have a puppy so needed something dog friendly. What a find the car park was very busy but still plenty of seats inside for...lunch. I had the salmon and my husband had the liver and bacon both meals were hot and good portion size and food to enjoy. We had the apple crumble with custard as I heard another customer say what lovely custard they made here. So we thought we would go with the customer recommendation. non alcoholic drinks, main meals and pudding just under . Service was exemplary and they went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We will back."

It wasn’t too bad however staff members coughed all on me and I didn’t feel safe in this environment. They let little dogs run around which was upsetting as I’m allergic. Not great overall

Lovely, friendly Pub, Well looked after bar, nice beer. The wedding reception settled for casual , easy food, BUT, this was totally delicious. Would love to visit there again and try their menu. Lovely area. View menu

wherewww, what a wonderful pub, on my last review I complained about the dogs, but it seems that they have gone now because they have not fucked my beins, which was a great feeling not to have. food was delicious and the staff was sweetie...pies

recently moved after years to dorset. today had a small family composition on the stock, including in the wheel chairs and a cav kc. absolutely enthusiastic about the welcome....that eating and drinking was great. personal excellent. many thanks for everything...will be back.

Celebrated my Birthday at the Stocks with our family of Table all prepared for us on arrival and even though the place was busy we were soon served our drinks followed by our meal requests. All meals arrived on hot plates and all...in very short time. Plenty of staff who were kept very busy but no panic, meal itself was excellent and finished off with a very nice cake bought by the family but everything organised by the staff . so thank you all for making my day. we arrived a little early for our afternoon booking, but that was not a problem and were welcomed and sitting. both the steak and ale nicely cooked with plenty of lean pieces of bark and hut cake were absolutely beautiful as the. pudding to finish. at any time the service was very ingenious. this is not the first time that we had this experience in the stocks, it is a great place for good eating. our compliments at our waiter (id on reception and of course the cook, thank you, it was very appreciated. we recommend this gem.

My wife and I joined friends at The Stocks for an enjoyably festive Christmas luncheon. How disappointed my wife and I were. We had to put our overcoats on in order to eat our luncheon. The restaurant area was cold and very draughty. When the...staff were approached they said the radiators were on.. But patrons were seated in front of them. No heating circulatong The roast potatoes appeared to have been warmed up and difficult to cut with a knife. Our Christmas luncheon failed to reach expectations The restaurant is therefore not recommended
