"We were overwhelmed for choice when in Sete at lunchtime and picked this place as it was busy, overlooked the harbour, the food looked decent without being over pretentious and the 12.50 formule menu appealed. We couldn't have chosen better. From a fairly wide choice...we both opted for traditional fish soup followed by the fish of the day which was perfectly cooked dorada (see bream) garnished with mounds of saffron rice, sprigs of tarragon and some veg. For dessert again plenty of choice my partner chose creme brulee while I went for a wonderfully rich chocolate and orange delice. All washed down with a glass of wine."

the lunch menu 3 € was excellent. I had goat cheese salad, my man had the thunfischtar. both were simple, but very tasty. the grilled thun fish steak for the main was excellent and very tasty. also very well cooked and not overhauled, served its kartoffel and sweet potato. Maybe it could have happened to another kind? cream brûlée very good as the moelleux de chocolate with celestial and cream anglaise. could have done with a little more sauce. the waitress was the sweetest, most political and most helpful. with more water, more brot, really knew what was going on. very good.

we were overwhelmed for the choice as in sete to lunch and chose this place, as it was busy, over the harbour that looked eating decent without appealing over pretentious and the 12.50 formal menu. we couldn't have decided better. from a rather wide choice. we both decided for traditional fish soup followed by the fishing of the day, the perfectly boiled dorada (see bream) with hills of saffron rice, smiling by estragon and some veg. for dessert again chose a lot of selection my partner cream brulee while I went for a wonderfully rich chocolate and orange delice. all washed with a glass of wine.

we went twice today it was so good that the owners are really friendly and helpful, their weepings were excellent. the service was very efficient and eating really fresh and tasty we had calamari rings and tempura vegetables as appetizers and both were. for the netzen we had thunfisch and heavy fish were both exceptional and fresh desert of the day was tiramisu, which was again amazing at the end of the meal the owner gave us a round and orange liqueur, which was very beautiful in the did that is something from the myham of the center and that is better. not touristic, but more local feeling definitiw worth visiting

"La Marine Restaurant exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. We had come to Sète earlier than our reservation time thinking we would walk around the town, but we stopped by the restaurant to see where it was located, saw our name on our table (outside, our dog was with us . We identified ourselves to the staff and they immediately asked if we preferred to sit then or wait. We sat down for an amazing meal. For an amuse-bouche, there was a fresh and delicious tapenade served in shot glasses with toasted baguette slices. The staff promptly brought water for our dog. We then enjoyed Bouzigues oysters (a fresh batch which we saw the chef/part owner Magali cart into the restaurant straight from the Halles location! and Couteaux or razor clams in garlic, olive oil and parsley. Both were a revelation. I had a delicious rosé Nino, served by pouring it via a funnel into the bottle corresponding to the volume I ordered and put on ice. My wife enjoyed the Dos de cabillaud (cod and I loved my loup de mer entier. Both served with delicious vegetables and potatoes. We didn’t have dessert but we’re offered a shot of a sweet Muscat wine and little chocolate lava cakes as a sweet send off. All for $95 US. We can’t wait to return. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Don’t miss this wonderful restaurant! They also give cooking classes at their sister restaurant Halles et Manger in Sète Halles."
