"dresden has not only august the strong, the green vault, the women's church and the Semperoper.Dresden also has the large garden and stries and stries has the restaurant stresa and it is worth to take the ride there. We had fortunately reserved, Saturday evening, the restaurant was very well occupied. The reception was professional and cordial, our wish was welcomed and the aperif. the small pause that followed - also the other guests wanted to be served - was bridged by a tasty greeting from the kitchen. After that came the cattle carpaccio, perfectly prepared and served, rucolasorbet was unusual but suitable and good."

Good locally sourced food with a changing menu of local Saxon/German styles. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Quite expensive. It wasn't bad but also wasn't phenominal and we don't have plans to go back. Solid 4/5 stars for food quality.

A little hidden and far from the old and new town from Dresden but definitely a visit worth. There are not many places in the city with such perfect and friendly service and excellent food. Good for Dates but also for friends and family. Little pricey but you get what you pay for a perfect dinner View menu

we ate in the stresa on my birthday evening. the very versatile and interesting card made it difficult for us to select the right menu, but the Stresa team took care of us and advised us in the selection. the one has turned out to be really good! and when we were recommended we could even try if he likes us!We felt very comfortable in the stresa and if I am in dresden the next time, we will surely go back - the card changes all 3 months, so there are definitely new delicacies to discover. thanks!

the stresa is located just outside the city center, but it is also easy to reach from there. at our visit last weekend we got an excellent menu served. Whether carpaccio, gurkensüppchen, healbutt or barkbäckchen - everything tastefully very good and suitable with the supplements implemented. the wine card holds the price class of the stresa matching weine parat. we chose a very cheap riesling, but he could convince. the service was the evening very dedicated and friendly. all in all, we would certainly visit the stresa again at our next visit in dresden and recommend the restaurant good.

"Quite disappointed. The prices and past reviews made me believe this was going to be a fine dining experience to remember. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Atmosphere upon entry was awkward, with several waiters and waitresses (including the apparant hostess) passing us by multiple times before we were greeted and seated. After waiting 20 minutes to order our entry drinks we ordered a 4 course surprise menu containing meat and fish respectively, including a wine pairing menu. We were quite curious to see what variety of meats and fish choices the kitchen would come up with in their simplest of surprise menu's. Imagine our surprise when the first course was vegetarian! Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy vegetarian meals, but thats everything we didnt order.. The second course, a clear beef soup, was very standard and boring. And I must admit the main course iberico ham with a good pairing red wine was ok. My partners fish main course (the only one of 3, after ordering for a 3 course fish surprise menu) wasnt interesting at all, and had a weird wine choice. Sadly the last course was again mediocre as the full sweet dessert wine overruled the sort of sweet dessert. After the second course the staff stopped asking how the food was, as if they knew it wasnt up to Gault Millau standards. Ordering drinks after dessert was only possible by walking up to the bar ourselves, so no thanks. Even the bill we had to go fetch ourselves at the bar. Even here the staff didnt even dare ask how everything was and if we enjoyed our dinner. All in all: a lot of potential but overall disappointing. Would not recommend"
