"After we had already filled the stomachs at the traditional Easter meeting of our family with the whole charming side of my wife in Berghof Heeg in Johannesberg on Easter Monday, I wanted to eat a little bit smaller. The plan was to visit the Baaila in Alzenau. They have a day of rest on Mondays, but they should be open on holiday. My thoughts. So get on the bike and in the beautiful weather from to Alzenau. When we reached our planned goal, it quickly became clear that they had actually closed. Luckily we had a plan B in the back. Only about 200 m further to the Ristorante Da Gino in the Entengasse, recommended by a friend several times. The Ristorante is a little hidden, but not far from the Flüsschen Kahl, in the middle of several residential complexes. Parking is probably only available for residents. Whoever comes by car should find a place for his bolid nearby. The guests who had served at the Ristorante last lunch were probably all on foot or by bike. Service 3.5* Directly opposite the shaded outdoor area of the location we were able to adjust our wheels in sight. A free 4 table was taken by us. Shortly afterwards we were greeted by a male service that also brought the menus and asked if we already want to order a drink. Yes, we, for small treasures, want a common wheat Bavaria, (0.5 l, 3.30 €, gifted from the bottle, for me a freshly tapped Bitburger Pils, (0.4 l, 3. € . The drinks came neatly cool, nicely gifted or tapped quite quickly on the table. Since we had studied the menu eagerly in the meantime, we were able to pass on our food requests immediately after the drinks on the table. After a pleasant waiting period, the food was served. We made the kitchen and waiters easy because we both ordered the same dish. The serviceman had not much to do with us, the number of other guests was manageable, so he could easily use the terrace alone. He was noticeable. He asked if everything tastes, my empty beer glass was seen, and after the question to me another one was introduced. My question about a pepper mill was immediately brought into action with the same. It was even enough to make a little conversation after I paid the bill, a regular dollar as it is. It turned out that neither the owner Ioana Morsbach nor the staff are Italian. Ristorante offers German and Italian cuisine. The name of the restaurant was simply taken over by the supervisor. Eat 3* We both decided from the heading “Recommendation of the Kitchen” for spaghetti with gambas, garlic and tomatoes (12, €). Served in a large pasta dish, as we also have some at home. Spaghetti Gambas fragrances have made it very good. The spaghetti were on the point, which is nothing special, even I can do it at home, the Gambas Bissfest. Where was the Knobi? Three little wings I discovered at dinner on the plate. Also in general a little fad. This could be compensated by using the pepper mill. So we were able to breathe calm conscience to the waiter on his question that it tasted us. At the end of the day we ordered an espresso (1.70 €). After we had already heard that a coffee volume machine was used, we were clear the nix taub. And so it was. Not neatly hot, thin broth, no espresso aroma, kicked money. We are always looking forward to the espresso in an Italian. Oh yes, I forgot, there are no Italians, in the kitchen is cooked Italian and German. So we could have eaten asparagus. Environment 3* View from the outdoor area to the small road As we only sat on the outdoor terrace, I can't say anything about the interior. Outside we sit comfortably, surrounded by planting pots, partly covered, the rest covered large parasols. Comfortable benches with cream, even the bare table, no flower and God are also no ashtray. Cleanliness 4* Nothing to complain, glasses, cutlery with paper napkins, plates, all clean. Conclusion Everything was fine, but not now where we are next week. The euphoria with which my friend made me taste this place did not come up with us. It must be any of his own experiences. Overall impression: 3 – when it comes back (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it comes back, 4 – again happy, 5 – absolutely again"

Super leckeres Essen! Pizza oder Schnitzel und auch der Salat sehr zu empfehlen! Und das schon seit weit mehr als 10 Jahren immer gleichbleibend gut! 5 Sterne

Leckeres Essen und trotz 15 Leuten alle gleichzeitig ihr Essen auf dem Tisch. Der Wirt macht allerdings ab und an mal Späßchen, sodass man nicht immer alles so ernst nehmen sollte ;-)

Das Service war eher mittelmäßig und auch nicht wirklich daran interessiert, was die Gäste benötigen. Des Weiteren war das Essen im besten Falle durchschnittlich, zu fettig und lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht. Auch das Ambiente hat uns nicht überzeugt. Wir wollten für gerade Mal 5 Min spazieren und danach dort etwas essen, kam der Inhaber raus und schnautzte uns an wir sollen doch sofort wegfahren. Als wir ihm die Situation erklärten, meinte er nur es Interrestiere ihn doch nicht. Deshalb nicht weiterzuempfehlen, wegen unfreundlichem Personal bzw Chef. Das Restaurant war auch komplett leer

Es ist eine Weile her das ich mit meine Frau dort war. Bereits als wir kamen gab es keine größere Freude darüber, also keine Sitzkissen auf den Bänken. Dann kam die Bedienung mit der Karte. Auf einen scherzhaften Ausdruck unsererseits, gab es keine Reaktion. Die Pizza war dann okan, ich empfand sie für die Qualität zu teuer. Fazit, es sit eine kleiner Pizzeria in Alzenau die eine Chance zu mehr hätte aber was wohl die Wirtsleute nicht interessiert. Schade... es gäbe ein gute Potential aufgrund der Lage View menu

Das Bier war frisch, gut und preiswert - das ist aber auch das einzige, was gut war. Vorspeise (Tagesgericht) waren Auberginen in Tomatensoße mit Schafskäse. Die Soße war schlecht gewürzt, die Aubergine halb roh. Die Pizza "Frutti di Mare" schmeckte nur nach Essig. Die Cappriciosa war zwar o.k., aber der Teig war nicht locker, sondern total hart, und am Rand verbrannt, offensichtlich waren die Pizzen zu lange im Ofen. In der sehr engen Gaststube herrschte eine unglaubliche Lautstärke, eine vernünftige Unterhaltung war nicht möglich. Da werde ich nie wieder hin gehen.

Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, so weit kam es nicht. 1.Wurden gleich nachdem wir uns hinsetzten recht unfreundlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht die Stühle nicht zu verrücken. 2. recht patziger Hinweis dass Impfnachweis nur digital akzeptiert wird und von QR-Code in Ausweisform nicht gescannt werden kann. 3. Auf Nachfragen nach weiteren Speisekarten (1 Karte für 5 Personen) wurde mitgeteilt das es nur eine Karte gibt, da diese ja schließlich immer wieder desinfiziert werden müssten. Ist anscheinend zu viel Aufwand mehrere Speisekarten zu reinigen. Sind daraufhin gleich wieder gegangen. Service und Freundlichkeit? Fehlanzeige!
