Drove 4 hours to meet family here for lunch. Small locally sourced menu, and very good customer service. Well worth the drive. Totally impressed.

2 nights at this lovely place with hard-working and cheerful staff, delicious food and a comfy room. Breakfast in our room on the 2nd day was a treat. Thank you!

This was a Sharing menu, beautifully presented and served. Preferred this selection of food to the usual more 'game-based ' options usually available in the winter months. All items were of course up to the usual standard of cooking, never disappointed here, never leave hungry!

Childless for a few hours so booked in for a cheeky Sunday lunch. Expectations blown away, one of the best Sunday lunches that I have ever had. George and the team made us feel really welcome. Amazing food, extensive wine list, beautiful location and relaxed ambience. Will definitely be coming back for more.

We stayed in The Riverside, in The Stable suite, which was amazing. The atmosphere in the bar was great, the dinner was absolutely delicious as was the breakfast. All staff were fantastic, particularly the gentleman behind the bar who also served food. Everything was perfect, nothing needs to be improved. We will definitely visit again View menu

A lovely lunch here whilst visiting the area. Booking a table easy online or over the phone; staff very friendly and attentive on arrival. A drink in the bar before being seated passed the time when we arrived a little early! Dog friendly table provided and made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit... the reviews here speak for themselves!

Warm, cosy and welcoming environment, perfect for this stormy evening. I’m from Hereford and I must say this is the best food I’ve had in the shire for some time! The trio of beef was perfectly served! Tasty and full of delight! Looking at the dessert menu I became intrigued by the Stilton ice cream, so was offered a taster/canapé size to try!! Unbelievable!!! Definitely one to try and not to be frowned at!! Very clever menu!! I could not offer any fault from our visit today! We will most certainly be visiting again!!

This was the second year that we held our three couple Christmas Re-Union at The Riverside because we enjoyed our 2022 visit so much. Travelling from different parts of England Wales we were looking forward very much to returning for our two night stay. George looked after us from the moment we set foot inside to the moment we left, he could not have been any more helpful, friendly, accommodating, charming and above all he was intent on making our visit memorable.....which it was.
