"During my husband's birthday stay in Dunfermline, we opted to not drive after having drinks. As seasoned hotel guests, we were surprised to find that the breakfast offered was not even a simple continental spread, but rather just toast and jam with limited options like a chocolate croissant, yogurt, cereal, and fruit juice. Despite the kind offer of fresh coffee from the apologetic staff member, the overall breakfast experience was disappointing. If breakfast is a priority for you, I would suggest looking elsewhere for accommodations. While the rooms were satisfactory, we will not be returning to this hotel in the future. The neighboring hotel, however, offers a great breakfast option that we will opt for next time. The staff member who managed both breakfast and reception was pleasant, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our stay. Avoid this hotel if possible."

Had a meal with friends, I found the place a bit too dark, food is cooked in front of the dining area, staff were more chatty to themselves rather than customers, meals are pricey

Reception staff were very welcoming. Rooms were large, well decorated, clean and warm. We had dinner at the kitchen grill and the food, we had the hot rocks deal was delicious and tasty. We have no hesitation in returning.

Central location is the best thing about rooms @29, plus it has a decent restaurant and a huge car park to the rear. Rooms were clean but nothing fancy, my bed was slightly squeaky which was a minor annoyances but I still had a good sleep.

Sandra went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed from the moment we checked in. She provided fantastic service and even went as far as checking on a family member who suddenly fell ill. The food and cocktails were delicious and we will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant.

After an overnight stay in the hotel we had breakfast the next morning. We all sat down and our orders were taken, all of the plates of food that came out were excellent and even though it was only breakfast you can tell the chef made an effort to plate up a great dish, best poached eggs we have had and the full breakfast was really nice and clean no burnt bits, no greasy pools forming and all on the plate hot and freshly cooked. Based on the quality of breakfast we will be coming back to sample their evening meal at some point in the near future. The server was polite, prompt and well presented.

We attended our function and returned around 12:45 am, entering through the building/restaurant next door without encountering anyone. Upon reaching our room, we were met with blaring music coming from what seemed like directly below us. Fortunately, the noise ceased at 1 am, but it would have been impossible to sleep with such disruption. Furthermore, we discovered that the door to our room did not lock from the inside, so we had to use a chair to secure it during the night. The bed was overly soft and sloped, which was not to our preference. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience that we would not want to repeat. We do not recommend this hotel.
