A friendly welcome from the owner Matt. Log fires burning on a cold day making it cosy. Food was excellent and unexpected with scallop sashimi and wagyu steak. The pub is popular with locals having a drink and regular diners from further afield. Will definitely return

I had a superb steak and mushroom pie which was to die for, one of the best I ever had, taste still lingering in my mouth must get back for more!

Such a wonderful British pub!! Quintessential Cotswolds that offers a very warm and welcoming environment. It feels like home and the food is fantastic. The owner will tell you that they make food that they want to eat and love and you can tell. It is a wonderful menu that varies a little but each day. It's a perfect place to stop in the countryside for a relaxing time and great meal!
