"I highly recommend Roti King Malaysian and Singaporean street food. This place is a hidden gem! I am writing this review right after my meal because the food was so delicious that I had to recommend it immediately. I am staying at a hotel near Euston station and wanted to get some takeout without having to go too far. I found Roti King through a Google search and it was only a 3-minute walk from my hotel. I placed my order online directly with the restaurant and went to pick it up. When I arrived, there was a line of people and delivery drivers, but I was able to get my order quickly. I ordered Nasi goreng (spicy fried rice with prawns, chicken, and egg), a small chicken curry, a fresh roti, and some spicy sambal. The food was so delicious that I finished every last bit. I have traveled extensively in Asia and love the food, and this is some of the best I have had outside of Asia. The restaurant itself is very small, located in a basement below street level. If you want to sit and eat, it is best to arrive early. Takeout orders can take around 45 minutes, so I recommend booking online to avoid a long wait, but even if you have to wait, it is worth it. I am looking forward to coming back as soon as I am in the area again. Yum yum!"

We went for dinner and had a fabulous meal The menu is not too expansive, but covers the core dishes of Malaysian cuisine.

Spectacular More India than Malaysian-Singapore-ish. Tasty roti bread Everything else is different Portion not large A bit more than appetizer.

The roti is insanely amazing. I’ve never tasted such fresh food. They has super friendly staff and the service was so quick! I would recommend the milo ice. Thoroughly enjoyed myself!! View menu

We were initially hesitant about the line, but it moved quickly and the food was well worth the brief wait. Every dish we tried was delicious! Will definitely return if we are in the area.

The food at this restaurant is amazing. I would definitely recommend trying the lamb curry and roti, as well as the delicious sweet prantha with condensed milk. I give it a perfect score of 10/10.

Go as soon as it opens to avoid queues. You have to have the full party to enter. It’s very small, the roti king in Battersea is more spacious but this is the OG! Good food except for the nasi goren, rice was too soft. View menu

There was a long line outside this restaurant, but I really don't understand why so many people are willing to wait. The food was not satisfactory. We waited for about forty-five minutes, standing in the cold with no chairs provided. The taste of the food was disappointing, and the milk tea tasted like it was made from powdered mix. The only thing that was okay was their roti. Overall, the experience was poor and not worth the long wait.

Roti King's chicken murtabak was a revelation: it *IS* possible to make chicken THIS tasteless and dry. Yeah, it was so underwhelming, it's rather remarkable! I love chicken and I don't think I ever had a chicken that tasted that bad. To be fair, my friend liked her vegetarian options. The dahl kari that came with my dish was also fine so it's quite possible the rest of the menu is cats pajamas. Possible but I'm not willing to give this place another try. I simply cannot forgive them the chicken. A bird's life wasted in vain. Besides, there isn't much to return for. The ambiance is non existent, the service is robotic (but at least timely) the place has no personality WHATSOEVER. What so eve...
