"I really did not have a good experience. We had to wait 1 hour for our food and there were only two other tables. We did see a lot of home deliveries coming in and out. The staff disappears after your order is taken and does not ask for anything. There was one guy working with a mask on but with the nose out. Then the whole “safety” is a bit useless? Since our server did not talk to us i had to walk over to them and say that my food was to spicy (ordered not spicy . The new one i got tasted just like they added a whole load of cream. The whole spinach taste was gone. Then when we complained about the whole experience the owner came (also because they put 2 naan on the bill, we just ordered one . He started a whole discussion about that we should have seen that there were two portions (is he serious? . Then i said well the food was also not good and we waited an hour. He explained that its normal to wait long for butter chicken (ordered by my boyfriend and that he was full the day before and even though people wait long they enjoy it (not my problem or my life . Whole story about guest is king (he made me feel super uncomfortable . I asked 5 times to just leave it (he kept talking about himself . In total, very expensive, long waiting, not good experience. Please in these corona times treat your guest like you say “as kings”. Going to a restaurant should be a nice and happy and special experience!"

This restaurant was just amazing. We ate so many dishes especially Punjabi food like Shahi panner , garlic Naan and gulab Jamun those were really fabulous. The service was also great. The nature of the owner was very sweet,we felt like that we know him earlier also . We just enjoyed having meal there. I would really like to visit there again. This was our first experience and it was fantastic. I would suggest my friends and relatives to go there and have meal and enjoy

Wir waren zu 7. mit Hund am Abend zum Geburtstagsessen im Royal Palace. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr gut. Das Ambiente auf der Terrasse ist nichts besonderes auf Grund der davor liegenden Hauptstrasse. Drinnen sah es aber sehr freundlich und angenehm aus. Wer es nicht scharf haben will muss darauf hinweisen, denn auch die nicht scharfen Speisen kommen für gewisse Leute vermutlich zu Spicy daher. Preis / Leistung geht in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder und vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

The food was delicious!!! I felt like I 'm in a restaurant that it based in India. The food quality is really high so there is no discussion about the price.. They have a indian Tandoor and that 's amazing!!! My kids tried first time indian food in Switzerland and literally now they 're a food lover of ROYAL PALACE BASEL! They make the cheese which is called paneer by themselve, I was so impressed because in other restaurants we can taste that the paneer is like a gum. Mango lassi was my favorite!!! The whole team is so friendly and respectful. I would suggest you all to visit the restaurant Royal Palace Basel!!!
