"that is a fantastic restaurant with excellent dressing from local products. eating is as good as if not better than many Michelin star facilities. can not understand how previous review could not book a table, I have never received anything other than a courtesy reception and cordial greeting when eating in ostlers."

"I stumbled upon a gem of a restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I received a warm welcome. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and his passion for food and drinks was evident. Louise, who served us, was charming, elegant, and friendly. The fact that they offered a generous garlic scone as an amuse bouche already had me impressed. The starter of king scallops and black pudding on a bed of pea jus was exquisite, and the light Albariño wine enhanced the flavors perfectly. The steak pie, with hand-cut chips and seasonal vegetables, was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, paired beautifully with a Rioja crianza. I was so impressed that I booked a table for two days later while still enjoying my starter. The dessert options were tempting, but I chose the meringue with strawberry ice cream and Chantilly cream, accompanied by a glass of Australian Chardonnay dessert wine. The quality of the food and the skill in its preparation and presentation made the reasonable cost seem like a steal. I left the restaurant incredibly satisfied and looking forward to returning. This establishment has set a high standard for all other local restaurants. Thank you."

"Food was excellent, I'd ale steak pie with potatoes and vegetables. I'd of happily had double amount of vegetables. The pastry on pie was perfect. Dessert was good as well. Easy parking as well as disabled access at front door, side door is used for everyone else. I'd booked table, confirmed accessible. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"This place is worthy of a great review. I visited for a meal with my parents for their golden anniversary we were a table of ten. If you like good food that's perfectly cooked in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service at a very reasonable price then this the place for you. Vegetarian options: The menu is small but there was two very good veggie options. Call ahead if you require GF/DF. Service: Dine in"

"Unacceptable experience. I went here with my mum for breakfast. We got served instantly and ordered our food and drinks. Drinks came within minutes but after an hour out breakfast still hadn't came. The staff were walking past us regularly and asked if we wanted more drinks about 45 mins in. After a while My mum was Loki g at the staff being the till trying to get their attention so we could as where our food was. She then went over and asked and they stated that the food had not been ordered properly on the till and we had now missed the breakfast window. Awful service. I'd of thought the lady who served us may have wondered why we sat there so long and no food was being prepared. It wasn't even busy, there was 3 customers in there. We opted to not stay for food but they happily charged us for the drinks, including the apple juice I decided to not have as we were leaving. Waste of my morning and I definitely do not recommend this place to others"
