"Been there minutes after the restaurant was supposed to be open. The waiter saw us standing outside for at least minutes without having the idea that the door may still be locked. We had a with a tasty lentilsoup, chicken in a...nice but a bit too thick sauce, spinach with cheese, rice and milkrice with fennel as a dessert. The food altogether was the atmosphere was OK but nothing special. The waiter forgot our dessert though and brought us big drinks although we didn't say anything about big. The chai tea I got had a little too much cardamom for my taste, the food's spicyness was OK. The naan bread we had as a side dish didn't rise well enough and I found it a bit expensive for the amount. Altogether a good restaurant where you can go to, as the main dishes were really tasty and the waiter was friendly; reasonable prices."

the restaurant has a good card. the Mango-Lassi and the spinach dish with Indian cheese and cheek-pea is great.

small and cozy with authentic excellent Indian cuisine, inexhaustible friendly service!Especially delicious: samoa as an appetizer and the main dish spinat with kicherbsen, on request also sharp! the sharp dhal is also delicious and the nanbrot with herbs! Also cheaper than others!

Its a small place (walking distance from Aegi) that does both regular and takeouts. Regardless, the food quality is super fresh and flavorful that beats the other Indian restaurants in town. We tried the spinach+cheese and chicken masala both were outstanding. Will happily...go here again

a spontaneous visit, we got the last free table. from the outside rather inconspicuous, inside rather simple but very good eating and above all a comprehensive advice what you like and what you eat, what is and general background info. The foods are for Indian conditions (at the size of the country there is of course also an extreme variety) very mild, so you can taste very good as well as sharply marked vegetarian.

Although the food was delicious, the service was really bad. The waiter was very unfriendly and not polite. We had to wait for more than min to give our order and then it came after one hour. The waiter did not even apologize and...said that the restaurant is crowded. When we asked to take the rest of the food he gave us the leftover in boxes and not even offer a plastic bag in a very rude way. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

A nice small restaurant where the owner does all the serving. A bit slow today, but then again I was'nt in a hurry. The meals are of good size (had the Murgh Kashmiri) and quality the meat was very tender and the sauce had...a great taste. The poppadoms were not as good as I normally have them, but then again thedips were very good. As mentioned before, reserving a table might come in handy since the place is quite small. Also think twice about going there by car in the evening. There'snot much space around for parking

Although the restaurant was less then half full, we had to wait for over minutes just for the guy to take our order, who wasn't friendly at all! The starters took another minutes to arrive. When we asked about our order, this guy...(who seemed to be the only one taking orders and serving), was very rude. Although the food finally arrived and was tasty, the continued unfriendly and uncaring attitude of this man made the whole experience unpleasant. To top it all, when we asked to take away leftovers, he mixed everything together in boxes and said there were no bags...although this restaurant claims to be a take-away as well. There are much better Indian restaurants in Hannover. I'm never goin...

"In my opinion, the top of the Italian restaurants in Hanover. Location and contact: Roy's restaurant is a bit hidden in the eastern city between Hamburger Allee and Eilenriede. Kitchen is available on Tuesday to Saturday until ~22:00, so a later visit at 21:00 is still possible. Unfortunately, you cannot take dogs, which is understandable in local size. Food: Great! As it belongs to Italian raised cuisine, the ingredients are excellent. The card is clearly kept small, but wide enough that there is something for every taste. But that's only half the rent. What Roy's is for me about Tesoro, Castello, Leonardo (also all worth a visit: etc.) is the extraordinary attention to detail, both in presentation and taste. The flavor combinations are partly simple, partly refined, but always at least with everything I have tried there so far and a true joy for the palate. You taste and see the love of the individual dishes Ambience: Roy's restaurant is small and cozy, with a modern flair and personal decoration. The small restaurant impresses with warm Ambient Lighting and from lasy to excitedly graceful background music. Service: The service also fits the atmosphere. We were received with cordiality and humour, and were supplied with extraordinarily good care. Conclusion: A real gem of Italians and, in my opinion, also after many visits, one of the best places in the city, just like the best Italian in Hanover. 5/5*, top class."
