"This time, the Red Curry was less salty, thankfully. The beef was tender, with slices of butternut squash, although I prefer them in larger chunks. The tofu looked appealing as well. The iced tea was quite diluted. The Panang Duck Curry is my favorite dish here, with tender marinated duck breast pieces and a generous portion of meat compared to vegetables. The curry is flavorful but not too heavy, though I could taste the salt. The price of 4.5 for a bowl of rice remains unacceptable for an Asian restaurant. Sometimes, I opt for the mango rice dessert instead, as they do not offer substitutions for ice cream flavors. The papaya carrot salad is spicy in a good way, while the soup noodle and fried rice look appetizing. The fish cake was unremarkable and greasy. The ambiance of the restaurant can vary depending on the time of day, but the service is friendly and efficient. It may not be my top choice in Cambridge, but the duck curry is hard to find elsewhere. Next time, I will request less salt in my dishes and see if they accommodate."

Although not fully authentically Thai flavours, the food is nice, and those ribs were very tender. I’ll this say every time too, supply pictures with your menu, it would make it much easier to decide.

Started off decent but a recent series of deliveries and visits had me absolutely disappointed. Dried and cold pad thai with no taste... Wet and mushy fried rice that was poorly seasoned. Not sure whats happening, either the chef has changed or the people just simply do not care. Unsurprisingly, this place is poorly rated by real Thai people. Sad but whatever.

Really nice and a cosy restaurant to satisfy your Thai taste buds Three of us went here on a busy Saturday night and had a really nice experience. The staff are really polite respectful. The wait time is well within the acceptable region, despite the busy time slot. The food is tasty, reasonable sizes and presented very nicely. I highly recommend Sala Thong if you are near Cambridge. There is ample paid street car parking around that is if you are driving. Thank you. View menu

We visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration and loved the food. Although delicious, we found the prices to be a bit high, especially for the Sala Thong Platter. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and I would recommend this place. The reason for giving only 4 stars is that the opening and closing times on Google are incorrect; they actually close at 2:30 pm and reopen later. Our friends arrived late but we were allowed to stay until 3 o'clock, with the condition that we could only order food until 2:30.

This is hands down some of the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. The hom Mali rice fishcakes were cooked to perfection with a delicious texture. The red curry chicken was a solid 10/10 with its rich coconut flavor and gentle heat, although a bit more Thai basil would have made it even better in my opinion. The dry curry belly pork had a strong umami flavor, but was lacking in interest without the kaffir lime aroma. I did appreciate the small eggplants though, which added a nice pop to the dish. Overall, I would give this meal an 8/10.
