schapeau was a great place for a quiet dinner in an elegant atmosphere. the service was great and the food was excellent! the calf was very tender and the best I had on our trip. the cranberry sauce and kartoffels were delicious....My man enjoyed the seabass. the hotel gave us a 10% discount on goodwill and we are glad that we dinner in schapeau!

As part of the Hotel Torbräu there is Schapeau, an upscale restaurant that serves delicious food. While I've had full meals at this restaurant on several occasions, I typically go in sometime in the evening for a wonderful dessert and coffee to finish off the...day. And if you stay at the Hotel Torbräu, you will likely be presented with a 10% discount card to be used at Schapeau.

everything was excellent, from service to eating. and for the high quality food we would say the prices are very good! I would recommend almost everyone. I would even bring my company here! They saw that they had a beautiful chambre separé down just two picks, but everything. was very beautiful. the personal was professional and friendly and the man who plays piano and vocal was very good! this is the place to go! my son and I went to eat here after a long day when you walk and tour. Our waitress and waitress were very attentive and helpful with the menu. we sat on the beautiful terrace, had the fried cheese (camembert) with cranberry compot, sweet curry and...salad garnel. all were delicious. they let me try a white wine to make sure that I liked it (what I did) and a very nice portion and the cost of the meal was worth it! everything was perfect.

We ate dinner here both because of the reviews and because we are staying at the same Hotel Torbrau. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Atmosphere good, service good except the ice cream took over an hour. Since it is spring,...they had several asparagus items, the soup and ice cream being 2 that we delicious and creative. Weiner schnitzel was very good, tender, with Logan berry sauce. Little pricey but strong recommendation.

I have long been a fan of this place and have written a series of reviews that are very good or excellent. the last 2 visits I noticed some changes. the service was always excellent with a team that...always were very professional and very friendly, it remains professional, but almost no interface with customers during the last 2 visits. the menu has undergone some changes and some of the delicate and very tasty dishes have disappeared. this time we tried the dry old burger, (not very German,) this was a good size and well cooked meatpatty, maybe a bit cold in the middle but very expensive at €26 for me I don't think that was really worth money.
