"Found this place when I got lost exploring the village of Vias and it was the best time to ever get lost! I now always go to Shenanigans when I'm in the area as it's such an awesome place! It's got great food - I'm an International Taekwondo player and they have lots of delicious healthy foods as well as some of my favourite foods that I have as a treat. You get fresh food that is fantastic value for money (think they should charge more as you get a lot of food) and they have a large selection of drinks both hot and cold. In the extremely rare event that you can't get the food/drink you want - they go out and get it in just for you. I could easily have all three daily meals there as it's fresh and local produce. The best thing about the place though is the welcome and the company you get when you're there. It's more than a place to eat, drink or watch some sport - the family whole own the place are amazing people and welcome everyone with open arms. Not only that but when I've needed advice on where to go when I've been unwell - they know where best to direct me. They're like a second family and I love visiting Shenanigan's when I'm in France. Just counting down the days til I go again!!!"

You are always guaranteed a warm welcome at this family run bar in the centre of Vias. A bit like the tv show Cheers ' everybody knows your name' ! Really good pint too.

Worth the trip for a decent pint. Food ok but the Paella when on is something special. Very warm welcome guaranteed. Nice to bring oysters from across the road to your table.

Well worth a visit to this establishment if you are in the Vias area, Warm friendly atmosphere, good food, decent pint of Guinness, and probably a sing song at the end of the night if you fancy!

We were on holidays in the area and went here to watch a Hurling match on TV and found the owner and his family very friendly and accommodating and the food looks very good. It is in a good location right in the main square of Vias.

Shenanigans welcomes you with open arms, every one who arrived was acknowledged with a smile. Great atmosphere and good food, service was quick but at no point did this make you feel rushed. Its a place I will look forward to visiting again when I'm next there.

Went to this Irish run pub with a few friends after hearing a few people recommending it in the campsite I stayed at. And I had the best night of my holidays. Great welcoming. Such friendly and down to earth people. Feel like your at home. Food was amazing and all fresh and homage which I love. Definitely recommend it!

We travelled to this venue in Vias on day2 of the wedding party/celebrations. OMG what a meal. The owner prepared/cooked everything from scratch, using local materials and it showed. In particular, the Gazpacho and home made pate were absolutely gorgeous and I strongly recommend you...try them. Equally loved the local wines they served and had an idealic evening with my friends, followed by one hell of an irish trad music session (as we were lucky enough to have such gifted musicians among us not me I might add). The hospitality and warmth shown to us by this family (family owned pub) was second to none. I have not even mentioned the beautiful surroundings of Vias. Strongly recommend you vis...
