"visited for Sunday afternoon with 2 friends, one of whom had a baby. the staff was extremely attentive and offered a high chair when we arrived. we were regularly offered drinks and checked by the personal. Sunday dinner was amazing and I will come back definitley on Sunday. Lovely cosy pub, which is beautifully decorated. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The Sunday lunch was average, we did enjoy it, but we’ve had better elsewhere and at a lower cost. Overall however we had a pleasant experience.

I took my wife and elderly mother for Sunday lunch. The table was in a quiet area where we could chat and here Ourselves think ! The service was very good and the food was beautiful. All in all very good and the bill including drinks a mere £70.00 for three. View menu

Food was very good. Disappointed with seating arrangements, had requested, on booking, standard seating but was given bar area, where we sat on our own for 45 minutes before anyone joined us. We were told it had been very busy that day and preference is given to larger parties in the other area. Probably would go again but not necessarily on a Sunday.

It’s a lovely place and the staff are always friendly but the choice of vegetarian food is appalling....either Thai green curry (which is amazing) or a veggie burger, which was as dry as sticks and flavourless. They don’t seem to change the menu very often, which is a shame. It is dog friendly which is a real bonus. They often have good live bands on.
