Strandbad Mitte - Menu

It took an age for waiting staff to ask what we would like. We ordered Hot Chocolate with Cream. When it arrived it was neither hot nor creamy. Very disappointed

What an absolute gem of a find. The staff, atmosphere, food and drink were all excellent! They served us as if we were in a star restaurant, and the prices were not to match! Take their wine recommendations, they are so knowledgeable. We will...be back

Group of guys on a gracious living weekend, too old to be stags, stumbled upon this restaurant, great venue, impeccable service (they warmed to us) and nothing was too much trouble, and really good food. Exceeded expectations on a very wet and windy night. View menu

Hier gabs ein richtig leckeres Frühstück mit Wurst, Käse und Rührei. Meine Eltern waren zu Besuch, da hat es richtig gut gepasst, sie wollten ein klassisches Frühstück ohne Sojamilch Süßkartoffel oder Avocado - lieber herzhaftes Brot, Leberwurst und einfachen schwarzen Kaffee. Das gabs hier.

We were looking for a different restaurant but stumbled over this place on a cold wet March evening. of us, of whom were vegetariannot easy to find places to eat in Berlin. A great find. Welcoming, warm and cosy we had a really...good meal. They were happy to accomodate vegetarians and modify dishes acordingly

Tucked away in a little dead end street just around the corner from Hackescher markt, this place offers old school atmosphere, waiters and menu. It probably isn't for everyone, but it's a perfect getaway from the busy tourist streets all around. They have some daily...menus during afternoon with discounted prices plus the regular menu which is a bit pricier. Very well located in a calm deadend small street. Lots of options to seat outside if warm, charming old school atmosphere. Good menu with plenty of choices for breakfast or brunch, light lunch and coffees and teas. We had the oriental breakfast and eggs Benedict,...both very well served with fresh ingredients. Looked good and tasted good. Service was a bit rough and not very friendly, no smiles at all and no prompt cleaning of the tables after we have eaten. The last coffee we ordered never came, but the bill was all right

When my friend took me to this restaurant for dinner, it might be a bit early, so almost no one. Their service is a bit less enthusiasm, but still polite. The bread sauce maybe a kind of fish, which is my favorite taste. I ordered...the beef, my friend ordered the fish, and both of they look simply but focus on the plate and which is my fav way with it, especially in the winter night, it was a taste that made people feel warm and delicious. I imagine the sunshine through inside the large windows and outdoor semicircular tables during the sunny day, it must be very beautiful. I look forward to visiting Berlin again. I will choose to return to this restaurant again during the day time

Tucked away, I found Strandbad Mitte, in a side street of one of my favorite streets in Berlin. I was looking for a good place to have breakfast and I stumbled upon it! The menu was typically German or German inspired, with an old eclectic...atmosphere. I loved the ceiling fans, so cool! The service was fast, courteous but not over friendly. I enjoyed my meal and came back with my husband a few days later and this time around I added an Apple strudel which we highly enjoyed to my usual order; the organic scrambled eggs with a delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juice which you can actually see them prepare and my cappuccino was also a good one.
