My partner and I got sick after eating at this restaurant. We will not be returning. Something is not right with your new chef or changes you have made.

Delivery was 45 minutes late no apology. Some of the food was lukewarm, and everything was badly overcooked. Squid dishes were cold and tasteless could have been rubber covered in soggy cardboard. Very poor value for money.

Been to this place a few years ago nothing special very bland back then but loved the chunky duck rolls. Ordered this time same bland rushed Chinese that arrived very quickly but the duck rolls were awful! I split them in half and all I could see was a lot of vegetables and hardly any duck. Really have let this business get even worse than it was before and it seems they don’t really care.

We have used this Chinese for the last 20 months and recently have noticed a deterioration in the standard of the food. Having read other reviews, we now realise this is due to a change in ownership and presumably chefs. Tonight we had battered chicken balls soggy batter, plain noodles missing flavour, mixed veg bland and al dente, char Sui pork fatty and inferior quality to previous. I am so disappointed to say that Superstar Restaurant has drastically declined in quality. We ordered two king prawn dishes - prawn chop suey and salt and pepper prawns. Unfortunately, both dishes were not de-veined and the salt and pepper prawns had a thick, undercooked batter. It was nearly impossible to eat. My family has been loyal customers for over twenty years, coming in for our monthly treat. I had high hopes for our visit, but it turned into a nightmare. It's truly a shame.

We haven't had a takeaway from Superstar for many years but decided to give it a go. We usually go to a rival Chinese. Very disappointed in what we had. We tried the appetizers which were just okay. The mains were so bland and lacking in flavour. Chow Mein normally has a smoky taste which wasn't there. The special fried rice was rice with flavourless veg and prawns plonked on top rather than mixed in with some spice. The other mains didn't have a strong flavour making it indistinguishable from each other. I ordered online at 4pm for a 6pm delivery, but the food didn't arrive until almost 6:45. It was lukewarm and unappetizing. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but either got a busy signal or the call just rang off. I had to reheat the food in the microwave for my kids, who were eagerly waiting for their meal. Unfortunately, the food tasted bland and my daughter's ribs had barely any meat on them. When I finally reached someone at the restaurant, they were rude and only said they were busy. They offered a refund, but insisted they needed to come pick up the food, even though we had already eaten some. The conversation went round in circles and they eventually hung up on me. I have...
