"Easily the best quality and service we received whilst in Dortmund! A very friendly waiter first sorted our drinks out whilst giving us the menu's. The amount to choose from was very impressive, offering a wide range of indian food. Whilst ordering, the waiter began...to laugh and joke with us, making us feel very welcome and took genuine interest and not like were just another customer. The food matched the quality of service if not beat it. Some of the best indian food I've had. The quality of service continued throughout the night, with complimentary drinks to finish. The bill at the end of the night did not reflect the time or experience we had in this restaurant and we expected to pay much more than what we did! A brilliant restaurant for anyone who likes indian food"

We found Taj Mahal Restaurant at Dortmund Germany via TripAdvisor mobile app. Ambiance is OK. Food is Nice delicious. But waiting for every another meal/course vanish the taste. Service is very slow. But I would recommend Indian food lovers to visit once. :

The food was 3/5 not bad, but nothing special. The worst part if my meal was the desert (indian ice-cream). It was just cut into small cubes and put into the serving glass. The taste and presentation of this desert was below standard. The main...course and soup were ok. They should do something on the ambience. It looks old and has nothing nice to catch your view. If you ask me they haven't changed anything for years, but they should.
