"Odd old place this! Not sure if I was just happy to eat as didn’t want to pay £2000 for a bag of noddles and £150 spring roll in the park or it was generally ok. I’ll be honest the place is a dirty dump! Chaotic!! And felt like eating a meal in a kids soft play arena!!! You enter and it’s a free for all, help myself, find a filthy table establishment. There’s no cutlery and you have to leave the restaurant to get a drink. And as with the rest of the resort, there’s no staff! One thing I can guarantee it don’t look. I thing like the photos. However. After a long day in the challenging park, I actually didn’t think the food was the bad at all!!!! It is simple, but I for one enjoyed the hog roast carvery!!! The potatoes were bang on and there was plenty of cracking with the pork! I also had some curry and chips which was nice, and the brownie I had for dessert was decent as well. Kids were well fed and enough options for them. Now! Nothing I enjoy more than nice meal eat posh restaurant expensive steak. But I can be be adaptable!! I didn’t go here with high expectations and was pleasantly surprised as expected worse! However if you go here expecting the red carpet experience, the finest red wine and cuts of the finest meat or sizzalating curries and stir-fry’s this isn’t the place for you. I’d also stay clear if your a fussy eater or Vegan because quite simply you want like it!! I wouldn’t choose this place out of choice! However it served a purpose and was better value than the park food which quite frankly Chessington should be loooked up for!!! Bit"

Lots of selection for breakfast options. They should separate the meats from the rest of the food. Generally a good experience.

Quick service, as much as people complain about the price, £25 for a adult and £19 ish for a child but for me it was well worth it, there is lots to chose from and the food was hot and tasty, my kids loved the ice cream machine, staff was friendly

What a lovely restaurant! Staff were helpful and happy, ot had a lovely theme and most of the food was gorgeous. The guy who greeted us initially, sold me a refillable drink on the basis I could have squash, once he realised this wasn't available at the moment, he very kindly offered us a refund, which we didn't take really appreciated his efforts to help. Would visit again

Breakfast was ok plenty of choice had to ask for vegan sausages . Paid for evening buffet. Over £25 for adults and over £15 for children . My adult vegan daughter had a choice of rice, chips, vegan nuggets and salad . There were no vegan choices for dessert …. Even the fruit was plastic ! I did ask someone who offered to go to the other restaurant for a sorbet . A lot to pay for nuggets !!

On arrival we were shown the card machine that shown £80 which did not include drinks for two adults and two toddlers. To choose from there was a style hospital roast, orange chicken korma, a tinned style chilli. Kids food included cold fry fish fingers, sausages and chicken nuggets that not even the kids would eat. The staff were chatting amongst themselves and not actually doing anything. Please please don’t waste your money, you can goto a nice restaurant and have decent food for the same price! Stay away

Food was good and the restaurant was pretty clean (better staff clearing tables and cleaning the floor in the morning than evening), however what really set the restaurant apart was the service. We asked for some fruit in the evening for our daughter as there was none on display, two members of staff went to the other restaurant on site to ask for some and were refused, so the manager Ant kindly tried and received the same response due to “the risk of cross contamination”. He was however able to get the chef in this restaurant to kindly provide some water melon and pineapple, which was greatly appreciated. The following morning we had a number of interactions with Cristina who was incredibly...

Hello, Just to point out, my family have been here many times, the last time we went was in may, we also have came here for breakfast as well. Breakfast wise, this place has limited, but really yummy food. For example, Fried egg, Ham/Cheese slices, Fruits, Pancakes e.g. For drinks, you can get apple or orange juice, milk, tea or coffee. For dinner, you get even more, with meats from Chicken, Gammon, Turkey and more stuff like Mexican Nachos with Nacho Cheese, Sausage, Fruit, and, so much more! Dessert is always the favourite, with vanilla ice cream in a bowl and many topping to add on, like marshmallows and chocolate circles. Also, if you're not feeling ice cream, their is also brownies and...

"Obon: a petit Japanese udon restaurant that supplies a sense of Japan that cannot be found anywhere else in the whole of the Uk. (5 stars) Location: Obon is located close to the heart of Kingston but the road it’s on is considerably quieter. You must make sure to have a basic knowledge of Kingston in order to find an area to park and to also make sure you leave yourself enough time, taking the unpredictability of the traffic into acount. Even on a week day there can be traffic jams which can put a halt to your plans and due to the small amount of customers Obon can take its important that you not only book but make sure that you arrive at the agreed booking time. With this being said the staff are all lovely so if you are running late, a quick call is all that is required to just give Obon a chance to understand your position. The food: The array of exquisitely prepared sashimi will be sure to create the sensation that you are in a top Japanese restaurant in japan and the flavour of the fish does not fail to match expectations, which will be very high after just one glance at your meal. The fish is delicately seasoned and practically melts on your tongue, this causes a lovely sensation and is genuinely the finest sushi I have tasted in the uk and even matches a lot of the top restaurants in japan. On top of just the traditional types of sushi, which to many is maki rolls Obon also offers many other delicious options such as soft shell crab and even Unagi don, which I must highly recommend due to it consistently being the highlight of my meal. For those of you that were interested in the quality of the basic Japanese dishes such as miso soup or edamame they do not fail to leave you in grand anticipation for what is to come for they are, simply speaking, incredibly good. The miso, in my opinion, is truly remarkable and creates a lasting feeling of warmth throughout your entire body, on top of that it is far superior to other miso’s that I have tasted in all other areas of the world. Overall the quality of the food is something you would expect from a world famous Michelin star restaurant and if you want Japanese food it’s the only place I can recommend. The Restaurant: The restaurant itself is small but authentic in nature and because it only has a enough tables to host around 20 people at the most, the service is exceptionally good and your food is always out quickly so you will not be left hungry for very long. The staff are kind and friendly. And it’s always an enjoyable experience being waves goodbye as you leave the restaurant. You’re also able to watch as they prepare the food, which for some could be entertaining. There are Japanese photos scattered around the room and this further creates an authentic feel. The atmosphere is not lively but it is a restaurant and not a bar so is an ideal location if you are wanting high quality food. With this being said it is still a great place to go with friends and I consistently am able to have a great time no matter the occasion. Price: Obviously, the price of the food is always an important topic to come to and despite the cost of the sushi being slightly higher than you may expect from a small restaurant in Kingston, I would have to say that for the quality of the food it is ultimately a bargain. For three people, you would be spending around £100 so it isn’t cheap but you can go for cheaper types of food such as udon, which is still amazing quality and won’t set you back as much money. Overall: Obon is still my favourite restaurant in the whole of the Uk and is perfect for a special occasion but it isn’t the sort of place you’d go for a casual night out. The food is beyond incredible and thus they can cater for both children and adults by meeting every bodies needs. For anybody that enjoys sushi, I would urge you to give it a go, you won’t regret it"
