Just the two cask ales on when we visited and the one sampled was well conditioned and served by friendly staff. Small but sufficient menu. Food was well cooked and presented. An excellent lunch ... Terrible and expensive meal. Ordered pork which was so tough I sent it back. The replacement was marginally better. Service was slow and we were left in a side room alone. Won't be coming back

very cozy! despite our booking they could fit us. dinner was amazing and good portions especially the lamb! service was also very friendly. large historical elements around the walls displayed. additional bonus was snow!

GREAT PLACE!! if you are around the area, you cannot miss this old Tavern with amazing food and lovely staff. The owner is really kind and take care of every detail. If something I will miss when I am back in Spain, is this place!

absolutely wonderful gastropub in ascot. the weather was perfect and happy for us it was not very busy (especially dinners), so we had almost the whole beer garden for ourselves. service was exceptional, and there are lots of parking spaces in front of location, although it seemed too busy when we left. highly recommended!

the service and the atmosphere were beautiful. the watermelon and feta starters were great, unfortunately the roast was very hard and the chicken of my daughter was too dry. the suppe she said was delicious. my man had sampi and fish he said was delicious. the cheesecake was delicious and the ice cream parts were found as very small.

I brought my wife here last night for birthday. it was a great night, the staff was fantastic, the waitress who served us was very friendly and helpful. eating was amazing, I had her duck scotch ei, which was beautiful, followed by her beef wellington, which was also amazing. I can't very recommend this place. I will definitely eat again for something more great.

We were looking around the area for somewhere to eat as we don't know the area very well and we are so glad we found this place. Its absolutely beautiful inside, the old beams and fireplaces are such a nice touch- and the food totally surpassed our expectations. It was one of the best sunday roast I've ever had. Next time we come back, it definitely won't be by chance!
