"I have dined at this restaurant multiple times with vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, and meat eaters of all ages, from our 9-year-old granddaughter to a 75-year-old, and they have all thoroughly enjoyed the food. While the menu may seem limited at first glance (fish and chips or pie), there are actually a variety of options including vegetarian and vegan 'fish', different batters, sides, and sauces to choose from. The pies also offer a range of options. The restaurant has a good selection of beers, spirits, and wines, and the staff are polite, friendly, and helpful, making for a great dining experience at a reasonable price. Due to its popularity, I recommend making a reservation in advance."

We both ordered the banana blossom in beer batter with mushy peas, one with tartar sauce and the other with curry sauce. Both dishes were excellent.

Four stars only because the pub isn’t fully vegan, as we know but their vegan fish chips is absolutely amazing. Would recommend, and we’ll definitely come again when in the area!

great pub with great beer selection and great service. but the best of the architect is fresh pub food in the city. I had the calamari and also the squid with incredible fresh and taste. I enjoyed it very much. it can also try several different beers. View menu

Everything on the menu is clearly labelled for vegan options. Friendly and laid back pub atmosphere. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Good place to visit with non vegis as there is something for everyone. The food is good quality and isn't too oily.

The service at this restaurant is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy. We usually come here when we're craving some indulgent junk food and are never disappointed. The only drawback is that you tend to leave smelling like fried food. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by.

the banana blossom fish and chips were very very tasty and were a huge portion!! the ‘fish’ tasted a lot like actual fish could be a pro or con depending on ur taste perspective but it was pretty impressive lol. my veggie coeliac friend also found himself well catered for!! 4 stars bc not fully vegan but that’s obvious lolz View menu

the main courses focus on two pub classics – fish chips and piemaic – but the innovative options give the menu a real twist. the menu is a large visual guide through the various combinations. there are many choices and the fish chips combinations offer more than just fish, with vegetarian options such as halloumi and seasonal veggies.

They take gluten-free seriously at The Architect, as I was told the owner has Coeliac Disease herself. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten-free. This is one of the only places left in Cambridge for gluten-free fish and chips. All six sides served with the Fish Chips (mushy peas, creamed spinach, samphire, etc. are gf and so are the seven sauces (tartare, curry, aioli, etc . It's also the only place I know that serves gluten-free scotch eggs (which are divine! . The creamy fish pie is my current go-to. It's also a great place for light snacks with a drink. I recommend the lemon pepper halloumi and fried gherkins. Reservations are a good idea, especially on the weekends.

"added dropwise for a pizza on the afternoon without reservation, and we were warmly welcomed and set immediately. the smell of reifer tomatensauce and gooey mozzarella in the stone oven under fire baked was an salutation to the sinnen. the restaurant was filled with a pleasant humor of talking and laughing, the sound of the teigs chopped in the kitchen, and the familiar sound of tellers and cutlery picked up and put down again - all with weak Italian music plays in the background. the ambiente was a tasteful hauch of seafoam blue on the wooden wall panels and equipped with sturdy furniture with red chili oils, salt and peppers and various types of fresh crimp on each table. a table can have salvia, another basilikum, the next coriander. a charming, subtler node to the l 'arte d 'arrangiarsi the art of making something from nothing of pizza. the menu was easy and easy to navigate, nothing to slandered level and nothing too adventurous. we ordered a pesto pizza and we asked for extra tomato sauce to which our server would be happy insured. after many times we came to our table customers and sleeps! the pesto had a tasteful taste and was pleasant tangy, the tomato sauce was juicy and not quite watery, and the mozzarella was evenly distributed and reached every end of the teigs. the best part, however, was the thick, soft resistance of the crust - not even the least incineration, but just at the right time pulled out of that. a 1 x 1 ' ft perfectly presented pizza. the, with two fizzy drinks, for less than 20 £. will return for the same, but with the intention to add a little red wine."
