Atmosphere is good, odd banger as per norm depending on what's on the telly,,, ie football. Easy sorted with a word in their ear. The usual plastic gangsters lol. Love it. View menu

I stopped by for a delicious lunch and a nice chat with the staff. It was quiet, but it was only early in the week. The homemade steak pie and vegetables were tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

the pub pub has just recently begun to serve with a young service employee, still their work is very enthusiastic and helpful to learn. the food was enjoyable and worth money. will visit again

Nice place called in for drink very friendly staff and locals. Did want food but they weren't doing any can't remember if it was just that day or it was to late or they have stopped do food altogether so if your after food call first, if you just want a drink and chat great place to call. again today 20. 2022. had a meal and was thrilled. best fish I had in the old. cooked for perfection. great, friendly service. highly recommended. Last pub in stonehouse. 25 years ago there were at least 4 others. I'm not a pub-goer, so I can't comment on the bar. I occasionally go to lunch in the lounge. comfortable place to go for a meal. always good, friendly service.

The atmosphere and setting of the restaurant were delightful, showcasing a traditional and authentic vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and provided top-notch service. There was a slight draft at our table, but the staff quickly addressed it by adding more wood to the fire, making the space warmer. The food was beautifully presented, and both of us enjoyed burgers for our meal. I ordered the gourmet Scotsman burger, which was delicious, while my friend opted for the classic burger.

I recently visited this cozy bar and lounge and was pleased to see it reopen after Covid under new ownership. The new owners are doing a great job, especially when it comes to the delicious food served at lunchtime. The menu is reasonably priced with a two-course option for £11.99. I highly recommend trying the beer-battered fish and the steak pie, which was packed with filling. The service is always friendly and welcoming.
