Called on for lunch. Good food. Contemporary village pub. Made welcome. Toilets quite victorian.Would recommend

it is fine eating at a very reasonable price. eating was amazing. service was brilliant. so glad we found the bay horse inn. the desert should be for ginger mousse cake and rhubarb puree with white chocolate ice cream nom nom staff were at 10/10 of my partitur brill.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and service of this lovely country pub. I had the carribean bass and my partner had the meat platter Sunday dinner with a difference),The portions were big ! I had a fantastic meal at The Bay Horse last night. It was excellent, as usual—we've never had a bad meal there. The menu offers a great variety, from traditional pub fare to more exotic dishes, so there's something for everyone. I highly recommend it to everyone... and I do so all the time! The staff are wonderful, making you feel very welcome and are all incredibly attentive. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Just got back after a 3rd visit within a week, this is a fantastic village pub where the owners and staff are really friendly and helpful. The food too is of exceptional quality and well presented. I was informed that the pies are made to order, so do take a bit longer to arrive, but be rest assured it's worth the wait. On Fridays tonight's visit) it's a fish and chip special! Along with a normal menu). Again it lived up to expectations and delivered on newspaper, a fantastic touch for those who remember getting fish and chips wrapped in newspaper. What a gem of a pub! The warm hospitality truly enhances its charm. The staff offers a wide selection of ales, ciders, apple wines, and bottled beers, including some great German imports. The food is exceptional. I tried the mixed grill, and it was just as delicious as it looked. My friends ordered a variety of dishes: the chicken bake (a hearty, fully baked dish), the fish and chips (with a perfectly cooked fish portion), the vegetarian Thai curry (well-seasoned and generously portioned), the mushroom burger (which was slightly underwhelming but beautifully presented), and a classic quality steak (cooked to perfection and served with fantastic crispy house chips).
