"late for a meal at what we found out was the karneval day of the city. the workers were understandably rushed by the feet, but were nothing but helpful and accommodating. we found ourselves a table in a quiet room on the back where we could sit with our young puppies. they offered us water for the dogs as soon as we sat down and warn us, it could be a wait for eating as it was so busy. within 10 minutes of ordering, four of the best steak burgers we have ever eaten. the staff was so polite and helpful and we will definitely come back!"

Stayed for the night during the festival of the celts, had the family room with 2 adults and four children and it was still spacious. The festival was very entertaining and staff were friendly and helpful even during the busy times

Would highly recommend! The staff are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Made us feel like we were at home! Food and service was spot on! Even gave recommendations of where to sight see! Was a really lovely experience! Thank you to the castle hotel!

we were in the Lord nelson suite for two nights. beautiful room and bathroom. amazing eating and service. the only thing I would point out is that the room was a little loud with auto-noise from the outside, but this is obviously far beyond the control of the hotel! would definitely return.

we had a nice stay here about the new year. the hotel was nice and cozy, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. we took our pooch with us and she was made welcome in all areas of the hotel, a very friendly dog place! while we were there, we booked for august again for our jubilee. they would be highly recommended!
