"Our first visit to the Boathouse definitely won't be our last. We had a wonderful experience! Given that they had just reopened a few days ago, everything was impressive. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and we never felt rushed. The service was excellent—perfectly balanced, not intrusive but always attentive. The food was of high quality, and the desserts had a homemade touch that you often don't find. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with no complaints, and I highly recommend it!"

Without a doubt, this restaurant offers one of the best ambiances in town. The food is fantastic, but it does come at a premium. It's more expensive than I expected compared to other places in Antrim. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £90–100 Food rating: 4/5. View menu

Decent food at a reasonable price, but what let it down was the sloppy service. Had to get up and ask for things a couple of times, including the dessert menu, which they forgot to bring after we had asked. Also, we struggled to pay. The view was great but better outside than in. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

It's advertised as fish restaurant but not much fish coises. and then it's from frozen and not from fresh and on top of that not even a pinch of salt on the fish for flavour. If you like an overcooked pasta with a smoked salmon from tesco it's the place to go Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 View menu

What an improvement! Congrats to the new owners/management. A truly great meal today Sole Veronique for me and Venison Cottage Pie for him. Truly delicious perfectly cooked food which was served by friendly, attentive staff in the beautiful surroundings of Lough Neagh. The Boathouse Banger cocktail went down very well too. We will definitely be back Service: Dine in

Practically perfect in every way. We arrived for a bite of lunch not realizing that it is normal practice to have a reservation at this venue, however we were very kindly accommodated. We are more prone to have a treat like this from time to time now that there is only one little one at home. The atmosphere is conducive to having a small family get together, we will certainly be back with a slightly bigger party. Food: 5

"My partner and I called in here for a bite to eat last Monday on my way back from Belfast. If there was a spot for no stars, that is what I would give this place. I wantedd to complain but my partner told me not to as he didn't want to make a scene. Im so sorry I didn't now. I ordered chicken goujons and garlic, and he had the pitta chicken. His chicken was like charred rubber it was so overcooked. My meal was like a plate of grease. The goujonsweres just pure grease on a plate. I scraped the batter off and tried to eat the chicke, but it was like goo. The garlic fries were in a bowl of grease. The young waiter who lifted the plates just did that and no more. We were never offered desserts, notthat wee would have taken any anyway. The other staff were just cleaning around us as if to say it's leaving time. It's very rude to be brushing up floors and spraying tables in a clean u in front of customers. Would most definitely never go near this place again. called in here for a bite to eat last Monday o my way back from Belfast. If there was a spot for no stars, thatt is what I would give this place.
