"A really quaint country pub in the Vale of Glamorgan. Service was friendly although I did feel they wanted us to leave the restaurant at about 21.00 as they were cleaning tables around us. Notwithstanding that, the food was generally good, although the focaccia bread we had as a starter was tasteless and greasy. Of the main courses, the two pies chicken and steak were very nice, the steak we had was slightly underdone and closer to rare than medium rare. The taste of the pizza we had was slightly overwhelmed by tomato flavouring. The two desserts eton mess and apple and fruit crumble with custard were very nice. Overall a very enjoyable experience but with some shortcomings."

We come here quite regularly, and it is definitely worth the 30 minute drive. Attentive, friendly staff and always great food.

This local pub/restaurant offers a nice variety of delicious food. The specials menu was impressive and the atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. I look forward to returning soon.

Went to Bush yesterday for the first time in a while for Sunday lunch and found just as good as ever. Great welcome from management and staff, great atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely food. What more can I say other than we will be back

I love the bush inn. great gastro pub food, beautiful atmosphere and Fab staff. I had the chef and it was one of the best dishes I ever had! could not recommend enough. also great with allergies. I have zöliakie and they were great in adapting the meals and made me feel very comfortable!

I had a great experience at this cozy rural pub with a nice vibe and tasty food. The chicken pie was exceptionally delicious and I highly recommend trying it. However, the blue cheese pizza was just average. While the first slice was good, the crust became soggy and lost its texture under the weight of the toppings by the second slice.

We visited a very cozy and charming country pub for lunch on New Year's Day. It was quite busy, but the service was lovely. However, we did have to wait over an hour for our food to arrive. The chicken pie was delicious, although it didn't have any gammon or leek as described. Nonetheless, it was still very good. The pub is dog-friendly at certain tables and had a nice atmosphere. Despite the wait, we will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Beautiful rustic thatched pub with lovely atmosphere and great food. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised after my daughter booked a table last minute. Menu was extensive but we all had great meals, from vegan dishes to my lamb 3 ways, which I have say exceeded all expectations. Beer range not massive but ok. I would imagine in the summer it would be equally beautiful with good outside area and quaint hamlet. Definitely worth the visit

Had amazing food and wine , shared with family from all over great reunion , normally I would have put on photos but was to good to stop eating and I’d had a few good wines by then I loved the houmous, and it was like a fried soda bread to dip yummy … the pudding was the favourite of mine coffee ice cream with espresso over the top was to die for ! , many had steak and it was like melted butter to eat so tender the chips were fabulous also a highlight for me also was the carrot and the broccoli never tasted a vegetable so good thank you to the staff who treated us so attentively made our visit even more special would highly recommend and I can’t wait to revisit !
