"We have eaten here many times and the food has always been good with friendly and efficient service. This time was completely different and very disappointing. We had a 6 p.m. reservation and there were only a couple of others in the restaurant. Drinks and our starters came very quickly with pleasant servers. We then waited over an hour for our main course with no explanation as to why and we couldn 't get anyone 's attention. When the food finally arrived, it was cold! When we mentioned this we got a shrug and sorry about that as she walked away. Since we have thoroughly enjoyed meals in the past I would say give this restaurant a try if you haven 't been there. Maybe in a few weeks we will go back again in the hope that our last experience was just an off day in the restaurant."

Finally got around to trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It's more comfortable than most of the cafes nearby which is a big plus but hardly the only reason to go. Other reasons are the friendly and efficient service, varied menu and reasonable prices.

I had been wanting to dine at this restaurant for quite some time and I was not let down. The service was excellent and very friendly. They were offering £5 Mojitos as it was Friday. The food was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The service is typically good, but it was exceptional when we went because the restaurant was empty. We ordered the ribs, which were good but could have used more BBQ sauce. The shrimp was delicious and the portions were generous. I would recommend trying their Sunday roast instead, as it was superb. View menu

Oooops the kitchen had to close after our starters as they had electrical problems and were unable to cook didn't help that I had just sent my starter back as it was too spicy and had to share starters with my dinner buddies and it was my birthday! Good thing was we didn't have to pay for the drinks and starter.

I booked this restaurant as a surprise anniversary meal/eve out for my husband.we weren't disappointed.the cabin combines our two favourite food loves. Steaks and seafood.my husband felt this was the best steak he'd ever had,and my lobster was delicious.nice,easy service.not pushed or rushed to order quickly,and nice gaps between courses,which is what you want when you don't want to be in a hurry! Varied selection of drinks and wines .will be back.
