The Cabin Grill - Menu

The restaurant is overpriced and overrated. When I asked for fried onions with my steak, I was told by the server that the cook didn't know how to make them. The staff simply shrugged their shoulders.

I've eaten here a lot over the past 3 years but Saturday's meal was disappointing. The lobster was over cooked, a lot of the mussels were not open and the service was over stretched. Such a shame for what is usually a great place to eat.

I visited the cabin yesterday with my mother after the amazing curs deal for sad the price represents the quality of the food. / the only reason why I evaluate this is that the personal was nice and the steak was edible. Apart from that, I think it wasn't worth even with the cheap deal. View menu

Have been here a few times and really enjoyed. This time however, food took ages to arrive, as did drinks. Servers were lovely when they spoke to you, but they didn't seem keen to speed things up and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Hopefully just a hiccup, as this is one of my favourite places to go.

uoops the kitchen had to close after our starters, as they had electrical problems and could not cook, did not help that I had just sent my starter back because it was too spicy and had to share the starters with my dinner kumpels and it was my birthday! good that we had not to pay for the drinks and the starter.

My wife and I found the cabin to be a great experience. The menu is very interesting with lots of variety; cocktail menu is very extensive. The quality of both food and wine is excellent. The service was very good, from the moment we walked in to when we left attentive, pleasant, smiles all around. This has been a lovely find and we shall be returning here to try a lot more of the dishes. View menu

I recently visited The Cabin with my mother after seeing an amazing 2-course deal for £11.95. Unfortunately, the price matched the quality of the food. I am giving this restaurant a 1.5 rating because the staff was friendly and the steak was decent. However, the burger meat and broth were dry and burnt. The staff kindly replaced the broth with baguette bread, which was disappointing. The chips that came with the burger were undercooked and soggy. The brownie in the sundae dessert was overcooked and dry. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, even with the cheap deal.

My parents and I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. We chose it after researching places to eat and wanting an authentic dining experience. The restaurant was very quiet, with only 2 other couples dining at the same time as us. Despite the small crowd, the waiter provided us with excellent service, being both friendly and incredibly helpful. He recommended that we try the Scottish rump steak, knowing our preference for well-cooked meat. He even asked how we liked it cooked to ensure it suited our tastes.
