I've been to the Crown Anchor a number of times now and had a good meal here every time. I would highly recommend the fish pie as this has easily been the best meal I have had here. I would highly recommend this pub. we went to Sunday dinner today. we had the steak and the aalcake. fantastic. it was packed, but the personal did it really well. 10/10.

Well worth visiting for the date and mates offer. Two course meal for 2 and a bottle of wine for £40. The food was excellent and extremely good value. I would definitely recommend a visit on Tuesday evenings for this offer.

First time I've been to crown for food today and safe to say it was lovely! My partner recommended it from going a few times before! The pies were delicious and the staff were brilliant and attentive! Would definitely recommend to anyone to go! :

Had a great lunch here a few weeks back best pie I've had in ages, and that's saying something from a northerner! Generous portions and top quality ingredients. And, it's family friendly to boot. Back again looking forward to the gammon steak this time.

Had a lovely dinner tonight with my mum. Sat by the fire. Food was super tasty! We had the chicken and leek pie and the cod with mussels special. Then the sticky toffee pudding. Service was attentive. Portions generous. Pricing very reasonable. Highly recommend.

23 of us went, personal were fantastic very professional, all food came at the same time that did not have the norm at most places for such a great party, good atmosphere very busy. the food was beautifully presented and simply enough for the big aputit, steak pee second until no great evening. thanks to all staff
