No complaints here - delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere at this pub.

The Pub is sat on a gorgeous country road, it was a sunny day so we were able to make the most from the outside beer garden.

I recently visited Crown and Cushion and once again was impressed with the food. I made a reservation for a special Saturday night dinner and despite the restaurant being busy, our dishes and drinks were served promptly. The service was efficient and friendly and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The food was good as usual, but the service was terrible. We were not offered the usual bread basket to start, which other tables had already received. Additionally, we were not offered desserts or dessert menus. The staff seemed overwhelmed, as I had to pay at the bar after waiting a long time for the bill. When I politely shared my opinion on the meal when paying, a member of the staff responded with an attitude and simply blamed being busy and short-staffed. Despite being at the restaurant since 7:00 PM and the restaurant being mostly empty, they continued to use being busy as an excuse. Directed from another pub restaurant that was full. Good off road car parking. Quite a few tables available at hrs. Very smart decor with a pub side with fire and restaurant seating side. It has private function room facilities also. Passed my jug of ice water test but no lemon slices ? Service very pleasant and prompt first course delivery ! Two courses on Sunday is the minimum order at ish !!! This was Steak pie a bit of cabbage with chips in their skins with gravy. Very good pie, everything was hot. I had ice cream two scoops). We ordered two apple crumbles with custard. The crumble had no crust and was like dust sprinkled on top !!! One of us had sticky toffee with one scoop of ice cream...

Food was fine as usual service though was awful. Were not offered the usual bread olive dip to start that other tables got and have had before. Were not even offered dessert or menus for desert . Staff were generally sullen. Had to pay at bar as waited too long after i asked for bill. Worst of all when i was asked how was the meal when i paid i politely gave my opinion as above the rather precocious girl with an attitude offered no apology and just said that they were very busy and did not have staff .
