"This was the 4th time we've eaten at The Farm Table since it opened last July and every visit has been superb. Simple food beautifully cooked and presented. Friendly personable unpretentious staff. Relaxed but efficient service. The ambience is chilled with just the right level of sophistication. Dining out at its best in my opinion. Don't change anything!"

Great service, a well thought out and varied menu, both food and drink, we were a table of 8 and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back. View menu

This is my happy place! I've been coming here for years and have witnessed its transformation from a simple tin hut to what it is today. It's truly fantastic!

Nice setting. Lovely staff and good service. We had crab which was a little disappointing it was a bit tasteless and was a bit almost watery. We will go again though as menu changes regularly.

A wonderful place with friendly, helpful, and discreet staff. It was the perfect spot for a family gathering since we all live in different parts of the region. My only minor concern was that the food could have been a bit hotter. View menu

The staff were very accommodating and pleasant happy to move us off the big round table as that was noisy but the whole area was too cool. I appreciate heating is expensive but so is dining with you so it would have been nice to have been a bit warmer.

The pizzas were delicious, but the steak was 50% fat, making the £62 price not worth it at all. The amount of meat on the plate was fantastic, but it was disappointing that there was so little of it. The atmosphere was lovely, although the drink service was slow. I would come back, but only for the pizza on a quieter day.

"Owner rude and arrogant! And you can’t trust them and they won’t make your order right by just saying too busy to make it right! I called in to make a booking but told no tables available but I could place an order for takeaway so I ordered two gluten free pizzas. I also asked what size are the gluten free pizza crust and was told 11”. I was told I would need to wait 1 hour 30 minutes and I agreed. I ordered the Gluten free 11 “ crust as advised for one Olive Tree and one Garlicky . When I arrived, I asked the person with the pizzas to confirm the gluten free pizzas. She looked a bit worried and said they were not gluten free. I asked the other girl if I would have to wait another 1.5 hrs and she said they would expedite my pizzas. The owner came over and said he had two vegan pizzas for 8:30 pm and I said that is not what I ordered. He said he was too busy to remake the pizzas. He said the girl that took the order said she didn’t remember gluten free was ordered. As a Celiac , those are the first words out of my mouth when I order any food and I also inquired the size of the gluten free crust and frequently they are pre-made and sealed and I was told they are 11”. He would not remake the pizzas as he said he has to trust his staff. So he implies the customer are lying and uses it as an excuse to not make it right. It doesn’t excuse not remaking the pizzas correctly as ordered gluten free as I was told a few minutes earlier. I assured him I ordered both pizzas gluten free and my wife came in and also confirmed as she heard me place the order on the phone. I realize this pizza must be well done and popular but not to remake the pizzas and imply me a liar and refusing to remake them is unprofessional. I find his behavior arrogant, rude and unprofessional and just because he went to Italy to learn how to make pizza doesn’t make him a good owner and manager. Hopefully, he won’t blow off this review but learn from it. Always make it right for your customers! And never insult your customers! It also suggest he doesn’t care about his customers because he is too busy. He walks away and just repeats he has to trust his employees. Poor excuse for not making the pizzas as ordered! Employees can make mistakes and as a Coeliac I will also double check as I did when I came to pick up the pizzas. I would advise Coeliacs to not try these pizzas as you can’t trust them to make them to your order. Peace be with you! Dietary restrictions You cannot trust this place to make your gluten free as ordered and they won’t remake it if they made it wrong and just say I have to trust my staff. Very Poor attitude from an owner and a bit arrogant! Customers don’t appear to be important and must be lying if they get an order wrong."
