"we have booked our table at the arrival, we were informed that the kitchen was going a little after, as there are many customers, so there will be about an hour waiting for the food. an hour passed, the waitress updates us that it will be another minute or so. we finally got our food served, but the steak was much over cooked, as we asked for medium-sized, the steak salad also cooked over to eat the point that it was too chewing (even if it was mentioned in the menu that it serves medium). overall it was a real disappointment from beginning to end."

Our first visit to The Fishermans Arms. There was only one person front house dealing with customers who was overwhelmed. When we eventually got her attention on arrival we were told to get a drink and your table is the big one down there'. It was only by speaking to other customers that we found out where the carvery was being served. Never again.

on Sunday for lunch in the fishermans arms with the family and we were not disappointed. we sat immediately and drink order. the cave was amazing, the selection of meat and much sweet to expect from together with all the other objects that she would expect with her Sunday evening. debbies selection at desserts were amazing, absolutely delicious. the personal was very friendly and it was a good value for money. would definitely recommend to eat this as a great place View menu

My family and I went to the Fishermen's Arms for Sunday lunch and we were not let down. We were promptly seated and our drink orders were taken. The carvery was exceptional, with 4 meat options and a variety of vegetables to choose from, along with all the traditional Sunday dinner accompaniments. Debbie's dessert selection was fantastic, absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and the meal was great value for money. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a wonderful place to dine.

We made a reservation for 7:30pm but upon arrival, we were told that the kitchen was running behind schedule due to a high number of customers. We were informed that we would have to wait about an hour for our food. After an hour had passed, our waitress told us it would be another 30-45 minutes. We finally received our food at 9pm, but unfortunately the steak was overcooked despite our request for medium rare. The steak salad was also overcooked, making it too tough to eat. Overall, our dining experience was a disappointment from start to finish.

"We frequently visit this restaurant as a family, living in hereford ourselves there are many Indian restaurants to choose from, but growing up eating Indian food, and knowing what quality is after all this time, unfortunately all the restaurants in hereford fail to deliver time after time. However, the 20 minute drive into Leominster to visit the Jalalabad is worth the drive Every, Single, Time. We visited tonight, and the restaurant was absolutely HEAVING. I must admit, working as a chef for the past 9 years, perhaps, they had put a bit too much on themselves in terms of numbers. But they handled it magnificently. And with approximately 50-60 covers in a very short space of time the quality of the food did not alter whatsoever. A very enjoyable night. And it’s so rare to find a place to eat, to have a night off cooking and have a similar quality to that at home. Interestingly there is a review left for the jalalabad a little over a month ago, it reads Food is okay (LIE) we have been going here for a while. But suddenly price has gone through the roof (NO IT HASN’T) they don't like card payments anymore (YES THEY DO) and the bill receipt is hand written on paper with not understanding of what is written on it (YES, ITS HAND WRITTEN AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE) Very strange Unfortunately we will not be coming back (GOOD)!!!. Keep up the fantastic work, and we certainly will be back."
