"Given the concern with we thought the restaurant handled the rules very well. The waitresses all wore masks as did the guests coming in and out. Our table was well distanced at the back with air circulating from the annexe when the door opened. The restaurant was spotless as were the cloakroom facilities The staff were very friendly and the Christmas decorations created a good ambience."

Quite expensive for what we had. Service started well but deteriorated a bit as time went on. We’ve come here every Christmas Eve since we’ve lived in the area. Probably won’t come next year. Shame really as we liked it. View menu

Lovely Sunday lunch at the Fox and Hounds. The atmosphere was really good, lots of people enjoying their time there. Very busy outside under the gazebo as well with the heaters on. Service was very good and the bar staff were very attentive.

Nice food, awful service, staff willing and pleasant but seemed to have amnensia so having to remind them to bring things (like spoons), request for water etc. Sounds petty but was so poor that we opted not to pay the service charge. Shame as ambience nice and food was good. Have said I would recommend, as suspect they mustn't always be this bad!
