"beautiful and dramatic traditional decor with large candelabras, filled animals, dark red and large, dark wood furniture. would not look out of place in a harry potter scene. menus with a modern twist including a dedicated vegan menu. Homemade curry especially delicious. small parking space at the back. toilets immaculate. excellent service from the young waiting staff and cook happy to have a chat as he goes through the restaurant. we will be back soon and look forward to it."

The ambiance was pleasant, but the food was underwhelming and the wine was expensive. I ordered the stuffed Chicken with Mustard sauce and found both the sauce and black pudding to be overpowering.

this place is a jewel. my daughter and I went to lunch today and it was lovely. the place is very cozy with traditional decor, the staff could not do enough for us and the eating was delicious. I will definitely come back. a walk around the beautiful village after that is a must.
