"Called in by chance in the hope that there would be a table free prior to going to the cinema, and the gentleman was very accommodating. What a brilliant little find, I didn't even know about this little restaurant, it was my partner who found it. The food was delicious, freshly cooked. Portions were very sizeable, in fact I felt rather full such that I had to skip a desert. We will have to come again and will likely book next time. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal."

"Visited last week , 3 of us and a sit in as a treat as one of us wasn’t having the best of times. I had a fish supper £11-20 and a cider £4 ish Next was a double sausage, gravey and chips along with a cider And the last one was beef burger chips and a milk shake. I was expecting to pay around £45 . You have to go to the counter for the bill were a young lady punches away at a calculator, no itemised bill or anything. The bill was £68 ! I know I should of complained then but there was quite a queue plus as it was a treat for someone who didn’t want a fuss. I did ring to complain and I sent an email. Nothing . The meal was very good so don’t let this put you off but don’t settle for anything less than a proper bill at the table so you can check at your own pace"

"Came in for breakfast Saturday very busy due to leigh playing rugby so we understand there would be a wait for food but have to say it came out piping hot, very helpful staff drinks brought to our table watched the england game whilst we waited for the rugby to start roll on august when the football starts this is my new home for sport"

"Food actually very good when it was eventually served. Forty min wait on arrival for anyone to take drinks order despite us being on time for pre booked table. Order for food taken one hour after arrival. Starters served one hour 30 mins after arrival. Restaurant needs a functioning kitchen extractor fan as eating area frequently filled will heavy smoke from grill during evening. Eyes affected as a result and clothes smell of smoke. Kitchen closes at 10pm and atmosphere feels as if you are compelled to leave quickly after that as staff want to go. Staff forgot to take desert order until we prompted and we felt awkward to order desert as staff were leaving from kitchen at 1015. If they sort service principles out the place could do well. Until they do, customers will feels as awkward eating there as we did. Pity as food is actually good but they appear to have a divide between kitchen and actual service on on offer."

"I introduced a booking for people were children) and a baby in a child car. asked to pay a non-refundable payment than we in the restaurant the members were immediately stopped by what seemed to be the manager who had claimed the pram...not explained and argued that it was not in the notaries! first, this man has to accept mistakes on his own personal part, as we regularly dine as a large family and I always mention this point. the table was long and there was a space without a chair so that the child car could easily have gone there, but he did not have it because of covid and it was not fair on other diners. we were then asked to wait another half an hour while they were sorting another table, but soon solved the problem by taking a table away so that the pram could go at the end. he said someone had canceled. yes, right! truth is that I have always rated this restaurant, but I hate to say that this was not the best experience. we felt hurried and was overloaded, oh and they added service to all bills, so I asked them immediately to remove this as it was about lizhi please try to clean on their customer service skills and welcome children whatever the age, because I personally do not think they are welcome!"
