"On holiday for a week we craved a Roast dinner. The George was the first place we saw when we got off the bus. As we had the dog we needed to be in the beer garden which was beautifully kept with flowers and features. All the staff were polite, attentive and the food was delicious. Only £14.95 for 3 courses of which my partners starter could have fed most people alone. If we holiday in IOW again this place is a must to eat at Price per person: £10–20"

The landlord was extremely rude to anyone who wasn't a local, and the other diners were just as unfriendly. It's unfortunate because it left a bad impression on us, and we won’t be returning. Overall, the service and atmosphere both rated a 1.
