"I got married in the Millbrook on 24th October 2016 and myself and my husband went back at the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We got made such a fuss of. We booked a master suite but instead because it was our anniversary they gave us the honeymoon suite. They provided a bottle of presecco to help us celebrate and even wrote happy anniversary on our dessert. The food was outstanding, the room was beautiful, the staff were all so lovely, friendly and welcoming. To top it off they then let us have a later checkout. All of this is what makes Millbrook so special and I would advise anyone to not only get married here but just go and give the food try. We loved it that much my in-laws came and met us on the Sunday and we all went to the carvery. Special shout out to Anne the receptionist she was especially fab"

I haven't been for a meal in the Millbrook for some years. But I've been hearing good reports I decided to try for myself. The food was excellent. Great quality of steak and portion sizes of sides. The desserts were also delicious. And the service was second to none. Highly recommended.

We had our wedding here at the end of August, everything went to well. I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue, the place is spacious and stunning. Gemma is a credit to the place, she took extra special care of us and a lot of guests on the wedding said is very good at what she does.

My Uncle and his wife booked myself and my husband into the Millbrook for our wedding night in April as a gift. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely man, who offered us tea/coffee then escorted us to our room. We were upgraded to the rectory suite. I have to say, it was a gorgeous room, we were so comfortable the whole night. We didn't want to leave the following morning. We had breakfast in the Gilmore? (I think that's the name) we both had a cooked breakfast and have to say, food was delicious, very well presented, quick service and staff very friendly. We will definitely be returning in future. The entire experience and stay was 5*

Our daughter got married in the Millbrook Lodge Hotel on Friday the 15th June 2018. From the day we viewed the hotel as a possible venue for the wedding the staff have been so friendly and welcoming anytime we visited. On the day we were treated like royalty from start to finish and all our guests are talking about what a fabulous hotel it is and how amazing the food was. Brendan and Louise the banqueting managers were excellent at making sure everything went smoothly, all the waiting staff and receptionists were so polite and constantly checking on us and making sure everything was perfect for us. I would highly recommend getting married in this Hotel, they made our Daughter and Son in Laws...

"Went here during lockdown when only takeaway was permitted by law. I had a lemon meringue in the square outside with a decaf americano. It was aaaaaamazing! Hubby enjoyed his peanut butter and chocolate cookie sandwich and green tea. I took similar offering along with a couple of mince and onion pies to my parents who demolished them apparently . I got a couple of takeaway pies for ourselves. My mince and onion pie put me into pie heaven. My husband 's curry pie was good too. I 'm so pleased this whole place is 100% plant based. So none of those awkward discussions about what is vegan. So lovely that it supports people with learning challenges. Will definitely return. Dog friendly too. A lovely square just outside with benches to eat takeaway fare in. There will be seating indoors when permitted. Great place incorporating the little bearded baker. They are hoping to expand their opening hours in due course and also seem to have a menu for hot food. Update: Visited again. Indoor dining open. Plenty of space. Clean. Good loos. Friendly capable staff with excellent supervision to ensure everything is perfect. Huge menu. I had a Christmas type sandwich sourdough, stuffing, cranberry sauce etc, delish. Husband had a beyond burger. We shared a lotus swirl which was very sweet and fudgy and a salted caramel brownie heated with 'cream '. Everything was very filling and tasty. Quite a popular spot. Hopefully introducing plant based eating to people who might not otherwise wander into a vegan cafe. Very positive vibe from customers and staff alike. Wonderful spot. Can 't wait to visit again.
