"Very local to us and wanted, as requested a quiet corner as we had a niece staying with us and all attending the next day a family funeral. Seating as arranged and a good meal for the three of us, with good table service. I had the mushroom starter, with my wife and guest none..main course was Lamb, Linguine and for me fish and chips..with two large glasses of wine for the ladies and a pint and a half of lager for me, with a coffee for the guest..a good evening, service and food. Nice local venue with good staff and a local ambience. Bill around £120, plus optional tip."

Came in for a sunday roast dinner, had a good chat with our server Lou who convinced us to opt for the roast trio which was gorgeous. Really enjoyed our food and drinks and the service was impeccable. Had a lovely time and will definitely be back!

This was our second visit because it has a nice atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, pleasant and very professional, the waiting staff were attentive and very helpful. All round a nice experience, sadly the food left a little to be desired at the price, we found given it was 14..00 the food left a little to be deired, potatoes and yorkshire overcooked and appeared burnt, vegetables dry overall for the cost disappointing.
