"the grange is an Indian restaurant, which is listed as served meat, has vegan options . and in that the menu has a fair number of sweet dishes. when I asked, they said most of them are vegan could be made by standard or light vegan. I ordered a vegetable biryani (picked rice with a large selection of vegetables) that is one of my favourite dishes. the waiter did not ask how sharp I wanted it. it turned out not to be sharp at all. the biryani came with a curry that is unusual. but since the rice was unusually dry, I used the curry to moisten the food. the biryani with curry was okay, but nothing special. it lacked a real Indian taste and the variety of ingredients biryani is known. the main vegetables were kartoffel, wobbles and tomato and not much else. the grange is a local restaurant and for a neighboring restaurant is the quality in order. the atmosphere is even a kind of high-class with large soft sitting and a beautiful decor. Please note that satnav actually behind the restaurant, in front of a super market (what was great, I needed some food). the super market has very limited short-term parking, so the waiter in the restaurant recommended to park in front of parking, where parking is free (and plentiful)."

The restaurant consistently serves delicious food and provides excellent service. Dining here typically costs between £20-30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect rating of 5 out of 5.

We attended a charity event for The Henry Allen Trust at this restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. Overall, I would rate it as follows: Food 5/5, Service 5/5, Atmosphere 5/5.

The dining experience here is consistently fantastic, with quick service and a friendly staff. The employees take the time to get to know the customers and the owner personally, always making an effort to say hi and connect with regulars. I would highly recommend this place!

We live in the Grange Farm area and have been dining at The Grange since it first opened. The food is fantastic, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Our family always feels warmly welcomed, and the service is exceptional. Over the years, we've tried most of the Indian restaurants in Milton Keynes, and this one is definitely our favorite. It's family-friendly and comes highly recommended!

The food was delicious. Definitely worth a go. Went here with one of my friends for their birthday it was first try and know Indian wasn’t sure how it would taste she recommended the chicken koorma and choose Chen tika masala which were delicious I would to to. Hygiene is excellent and there are plenty of tables but sometimes you might need to book before you go as it is very popular and can get packed a times. Give it a go

I highly recommend The Grange. It seems to be a favorite among many Indians in Milton Keynes, and for good reason—it offers one of the best experiences. The staff is incredibly courteous; when two members of our party (out of four) mentioned that their curry lacked spice and they were expecting it to be a bit hotter, the staff promptly brought them another dish along with rice to take home. Overall, a wonderful experience at The Grange, and I will definitely be returning!

I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food came out cold and tasteless, missing the seasoning and chili I had requested twice. It felt as though they didn't prioritize their takeaway customers. I called the restaurant right after placing my online order, and the person I spoke with assured me that my requests would be fulfilled. However, when my order arrived, the paneer shashlik was of low quality and overpriced. I won't be returning to this restaurant and view it as a waste of both time and money. Lesson learned.

The biryani came with a curry that was somewhat unusual. Since the rice was quite dry, I used the curry to add moisture to the dish. Overall, the biryani with curry was decent but didn’t stand out. It lacked the authentic Indian flavor and the diverse ingredients typically expected in biryani. The primary vegetables were limited to potatoes, onions, and tomatoes, with not much variety beyond that. As a neighborhood restaurant, The Grange offers satisfactory quality, and the atmosphere feels somewhat upscale, featuring large, comfortable seats and lovely decor. One important note: the restaurant is located behind a supermarket, which was handy for me as I needed to grab some groceries. Howev...

Typically, biryani is served with some kind of sauce, but in this case, it came with curry, which is somewhat unusual. I used the curry to add moisture to the drier-than-usual rice. While the combination was acceptable, it didn’t stand out, lacking the authentic Indian flavors and the diverse ingredients that biryani is usually known for. The primary vegetables were potato, onion, and tomato, with not much variety. As a local establishment, The Grange offers decent quality for a neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere feels somewhat upscale, featuring comfortable seating and attractive decor. One thing to note is that the satnav may direct you to a spot behind the restaurant, near a superma...

"Heading to the near Craufurd Arms for a gig and looking for something to eat beforehand we happened across Zouk Lounge quite by accident and as we all enjoy Lebanese food decided to give it a try after first checking that there was plenty of veggie options (which there was) as 2 of our 3 strong party are vegetarian. Gabriella (from Romania) was our charming waitress who seated us and was very informative when it came to enquiring about the various veggie options on offer. She recommended the ‘Lobia’ dish to me (Lebanese spiced whole green beans cooked with fresh tomato sauce) which I then ordered whilst my brother and our friend also choose veggie options and we then decided to share these amongst us all and also decided to add a couple of side dishes. Very impressed with all the food served to us; all freshly cooked, nicely presented, tasted delicious and served to us in a timely fashion. No complaints. After dinner Gabriella enquired if we’d like to relax in their Shisha lounge located at the rear of the restaurant whilst she prepared a shisha pipe and some aperitifs for us. We accepted her offer and retired to the shisha lounge. Once Gabriella had served our aperitifs she enquired as to whether I would like to take control of the music in the lounge over their Bluetooth connection which I gladly excepted and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay a little longer for another round of cognac and G T’s before we headed off to the nearby gig; only just arriving before the show started in the end as we’d spent nearly a full 2 hours in Zouk Lounge. All in all, a really enjoyable dinner; fantastic food, a charming and friendly waitress (Gabriella) and a real surprise and extra treat to learn of the shisha bar at the rear of the restaurant after our meal. We will definitely be back for a return visit the next time we are in the area."
