"Very accommodating!!! We hadn't booked, our mistake. However the owner was able to seat myself and the husband. The restaurant had a relaxing feel and the couple next to us, informed us they can't help but to return. We order a rib eye steak and a filet steak. Was not disappointed!!. Yes, you are cooking it yourself, but this is all part of the fun!!... The steak comes with Skin of chips, mushrooms, tomatoe, onions, salad and coleslaw. As you walk into the pub, you are drawn to a fridge full of homemade desserts! Option to eat in or take home. Of course we had eaten to much... so we had to have a take out, white chocolate, bailey's cheese cake and a lemon crush cheese cake oh my.... what a pleasure only glad I wasn't in the pub when eating... lots of oh's and ooh's going on when eating!!! When paying the bill, the owner offered us an apology because they had been 2 members of staff down in all honesty, we had not noticed and the staff had been so accommodating and happy to service, we'd not noticed. Thank you and we will be returning"

Excellent watering hole that happens to have one of the best solutions to your food potentially going cold between the kitchen and your table. Chilled and friendly atmosphere with some fantastic service

an incredible place, so balanced. not pretentious, but comfortable stylish. friendly and professional. I've lived in the opposite for seven years. I intend to make sure that this is going ahead. all, go, they won't regret it.

we did not enjoy our meal here yesterday evening in one place, but it was not disappointed. we had both the black rock grills and the meat was really good quality; a fun way to cook her steak as they like it. there is a well equipped refrigerator with a lot of desserts, which are very generously cut. it was nice to have the opportunity to take one: the personal was friendly and welcoming and we will return again, thank you.

the second time was visiting and eating was just as excellent as the first quality that was on no one, the personal was friendly, polite and efficient with nothing too much annoying, but due to the Kovid protocol a tad more stood by fishing, but can not blame that is as it is currently. very good selection of beer, weeping and spirituous and all very inexpensive. the selection of sweets to finish still very ingenious, if not as many as the first visit, but again do not spoil anything. will definitely be back and if they want a meal better than just pub grub or have a occasion to celebrate and not to pay a little more for the experience, then they give it a try not to regret it in any case.

Visited the Grove tonight (10/08/21). What a fantastic place to eat wonderful food. Set in a lovely area, gardens are well tended with water features. Very large car park and the building is beautiful, from the 1800s grade 2 listed. There's lots to choose from on the menu, the amount I'd steak to choose from is fab. Steaks come on a very hit lava rock which allows you to cook it to your preferred temperature. Sift, tender and tasty. Have the black treacle marinade, it adds a lovely dimension to the meat. Whatever you do, make sure you leave room fir the divine puds! They are HUGE. Laud back, gentle and peaceful dining, hosted wonderfully by John. Take the time to day hello and chat with this...

definitely worth visiting, stunning quality steaks served on a volcanic. means that they choose the level of cooking they want, instead of a busy kitchen they only want to serve, they will ever come out of the pan and then send it back. large selection of weeping and beeing to accompany the meal, the employees all very professional in their behavior, with great love to detail and also good to see, and rarely in these days what we could only suspect were native to the bar with chats with the personal and other customers. makes it warm and welcoming, a family feels more than a pub chain... as if we look around where we live. I wish we had lived in the opposite. a great place for a good evening...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
