"We went for Sunday lunch as a family of 3 for Fathers Day. Having tried Sunday roasts in many eateries around London, I can't say that The Gun was one of the best. The beef was fatty, the parsnips hard, there were only 3 roast potatoes and the Yorkshire pudding was so crispy is disintegrated into dust when cut into. It wasn't all bad; the roast pork belly was delicious, as was the little pot of cauliflower cheese you get on the side board; lovely and crispy on the top and beautifully creamy inside. The apple sauce and the extra bit of gravy you get on the sideboard was also a nice touch. I can't fault the service, friendly, humorous and very attentive from the moment we arrived, they even done a child's size portion of the roast beef for our daughter. Location is good, and there are tables on an outside terrace for the warmer weather."

Great pub with lovely views. Steak was great, really tasty, pigeon was unfortunately on the small side. A great start to the weekend!

We booked for 7:30 and there was hardly any options of food left available. Some of the food okay but on the whole very disappointing especially as we had come a long way.

Went to the gun for NYE , they were doing a 9 course tasting feast , , we arrived really late but they were happy to accommodate the time we arrived. The food was so tasty prepared to perfection. The staff were amazing ,friendly ,attentive . Everything run smoothly ,and we were able to see fireworks very worth it .

A friend recommended 'The Gun ' to us, so I made a reservation for Sunday roast the food was delicious, the staff very friendly and swift, the view (it 's opposite the O2) splendid. I had the roast rump of Cumbrian beef with duck fat roast potatoes, a true delight. I 'm definitely looking forward to the next time at this pub.

This riverside pub is fantastic with a friendly staff and stunning view. We enjoyed drinks, food, and lunch on Sunday, all of which were excellent. The staff was great and the quirky interior added to the charm of the place. There is a large terrace on the right with seating and a view of the river. It would be even better if they extended bar service to the terrace.

We went on Saturday for dinner with my in laws. The duck I ordered was very dry and was really hard to chew and my mother in law had an upset stomach from rare kidney with goat. However wine and desert were very good and delicious. The overall pub experience is great with amazing views and atmosphere. We have been before with my husband on Friday and Thursday nights when we had drinks and burgers for dinner, but not in the restaurant. I would not recommend the restaurant as it is overpriced for what it is compared to other places on London but the pub is great with good wine and beer selection.

I have frequented this pub on numerous occasions over the years, but only for drinks. Recently, I decided to treat a friend to lunch here as I had always been impressed by the food menu. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered the venison for £32 and were disappointed to find it overcooked. The pork dish, priced at £26, also suffered from being dry and tough, despite the delicious mash and gravy. While my friend's burger was satisfactory, the waitress discouraged us from ordering the ravioli, describing it as bland. This was not a great selling point for the chef. On a positive note, the crumble dessert was enjoyable. The pub offers a beautiful view and a nice atm...
